Two (2) Barangay Officials were apprehended during the implementation of a Search Warrant (SW) by the CIDG police operatives from Maguindanao and Lanao Del Sur in the morning of September 11, 2018 (5:30 AM of Tuesday) in Poblacion 2, Shariff Aguak, Maguindanao.

The said Brgy. Officials were identified by PSupt James Allan Logan, Regional Chief of the CIDG RFU ARMM as HADJI SALIPADA LIDASAN and BADRUDIN KUTIN who are both Brgy Kagawad of Poblacion 2 and were arrested for possession of 2 caliber 5.56mm rifles, four (3) magazines and assorted ammunition.

A case for violation of RA 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Law) will be filed against Lidasan and Kutin.

In other news, detectives of the CIDG nabbed 2 Most Wanted Persons (MWPs) during the service of Warrants of Arrest (WOAs) on Tuesday, September 11, 2018.

In a report submitted to PDir Roel B Obusan, CIDG Director, the suspects were identified as RICARDO RAMOS y SISTONA a.k.a. “Taba” and CHERELYN LOLO DUMAOGAN, who are tagged as the No. 2 Municipal Level MWP in Balayan, Batangas and No. 5 Provincial Level MWP in Compostela Valley Province, respectively.

Ramos was apprehended by the CIDG RFU 4B based in Occidental Mindoro and Marinduque under the direct supervision of its Regional Chief, PSupt Daniel Alinas together with the RIU 4B, Occidental Mindoro PPO, Occidental Mindoro PMFC, Maritime Police Station (PS) and Mamburao Municipal Police Station (MPS), at about 9:00 AM in Brgy. 4, Mumburao, Occidental Mindoro for the crime of Murder.

While Dumaogan was collared for Attempted Murder (2 counts) at around 2:05 PM in Purok 3, Sitio Sinawatan, Brgy. Lebanon, Montevista, Compostela Valley by joint elements of the CIDG PFU-Compostella Valley supervised by PSupt Edilberto Leonardo, the Regional Chief of the CIDG RFU 11.

Both suspects are now waiting for their turn-over to their respective courts of origin.###
