LOOSE GUNS SURRENDERED TO CIDG; DRUG PERSONALITY ARRESTED

October 30,2016

 

Two calibre .38 revolvers were turned-over to the personnel of La Union CIDG in the afternoon of October 25, 2016 (2:00 PM of Tuesday), by Brgy. Chief Tanod Dominador Narito and assisted by Brgy. Chairwoman Arlene Abat, Brgy. Officials of Brgy. Talogtog, San Juan, La Union.

 

PSSupt Amando Lagiwid, Regional Chief of 1RCIDG, said to PCSupt Roel B. Obusan, CIDG Acting Director, that the said turn-over of firearms were in response to the request of Brgy. Chairwoman Abat regarding loose firearms that they wanted to surrender. Allegedly, the firearms were voluntarily surrendered to Narito by a concerned citizen who requested anonymity, added PSSupt Lagiwid.

 

Meanwhile, detectives of Sorsogon CIDG, together with Juban Municipal Police Station, arrested one Rene DEVERLA, during the implementation of a Search Warrant (SW) in Brgy. Bacolod, Juban, Sorsogon, on October 26, 2016 (Wednesday), at about 9:21 AM. During the operation, seized from Deverla’s possession and control were one sachet of suspected shabu, drug paraphernalia, and ammunition.

 

Deverla, according to PSSupt Marlon Tejada, Regional Chief of 5RCIDG, is listed as No. 3 Target Drug Personality of Juban MPS. Cases for violation of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act) and RA 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act) were filed against Deverla. xxx

 

VILLAGE CHIEF COLLARED FOR GUNS AND AMMO

October 26,2016

 

A village chief was collared during the implementation of a Search Warrant (SW) by the joint elements of Laguna CIDG, Laguna Police, and Paete Municipal Police Station, on Tuesday afternoon (October 25, 2016 at around 1:00 PM) at the Brgy. Hall, Brgy. 4, Quinale, Paete, Laguna.

 

Identified as Roberto BAGABALDO, the incumbent Brgy. Chairman of the said Brgy. was arrested for possession and control of one 9mm luger, a calibre .45 pistol, calibre .38 revolver, calibre .380, one calibre .22, eleven magazines, 111 pieces of assorted ammunition, a scope, and a silencer.

 

In his report to PCSupt Roel B. Obusan, CIDG Director, PSSupt Rex Anongos, 4ARCIDG Regional Chief said that Bagabalo, the current ABC President of Paete, Laguna, is listed in the 4ARCIDG’s Priority Target of Drug Personalities.

 

A case for violation of RA 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act) was filed against the said Brgy. Chairman, while the seized firearms are being subjected for verification at the PNP Firearms and Explosives Division

 

Meanwhile, at around 8:00 AM of October 25, 2016 (Tuesday), members of the Cavite CIDG, arrested one Rolly GASCA by virtue of Warrants of Arrest (WOAs), in Brgy. Maguyam, Silang, Cavite.

 

The said WOAs were issued by RTC Br. 18, Tagaytay City and RTC Br. 63, Province of Camarines Sur, respectively. Gasca, who is currently detained at the 4ARCIDG’s custodial facility, is wanted for Rape and Murder, added PSSupt Anongos. xxx

 

FIVE ALLEGED DRUG PUSHERS INCLUDING AN EX-MILITARY BUSTED BY CIDG

A former actress, ex-Military personnel and three others were collared in separate police operations launched by the members of the CIDG based in Rizal, Lanao Del Norte, and Davao Oriental, respectively.

 

Early morning of October 22, 2016 (1:00 AM of Saturday), detectives of Rizal CIDG, under the direct supervision of PSSupt Rex Anongos, the Regional Chief of 4ARCIDG, implemented a Search Warrant (SW) against Michael Reuben DE GUZMAN, along Ipil-Ipil St., Brgy San Vicente, Angono, Rizal that result to his arrest and his cohort identified as Ma. Perseveranda ISIDRO a.k.a. “Ivy Isidro”, a former celebrity actress.

 

The two were caught in possession of three sachets of suspected shabu weighing MOL 1.13 g amounting to more than Php3,300.00, a sachet of marijuana weighing MOL 1.57 g worth Php100.00, and assorted drug paraphernalia.

 

Meanwhile, at about 6:50 PM of the same date (October 22, 2016), one Jovane NALE was arrested by the combined elements of Lanao Del Norte/Iligan City CIDG, Iligan City Police Office, and PRO-10 during a buy-bust operation in Purok 6, Brgy. Tambacan, Iligan City. The authorities were able to confiscate 18 sachets of suspected shabu weighing MOL 2.6 g amounting to Php19,500.00, a calibre .38 revolver, ammunition, and assorted drug paraphernalia.

 

One of the suspects, identified as Reynalso Recaplaza a.k.a “Popoy”, managed to evade arrest, said PSupt Tom Tuzon, 10RCIDG Regional Chief to PSSupt Ramon L. Rafael, OIC, CIDG.

 

While, on Friday afternoon (October 21, 2016 at 3:40 PM), two men including an ex-Military personnel were captured in a buy-bust operation and implementation of SW conducted by the detectives of Davao Oriental CIDG, together with the Davao Oriental PDEA, Davao Oriental PPO, Mati City Police Station, and 701st BDE, in Purok IMA, Quezon St., Sitio Magapo, Brgy. Central, Mati City, Davao Oriental.

 

PSupt Edilberto Leonardo, Regional Chief of 11RCIDG, identified the arrested persons as Romeo AQUINO a.k.a. “Boboy” and Gerald DIANSAY (ex-Military), both known local drug pushers in the area. Seized from their possession and control were two sachets of suspected shabu, three sticks of marijuana, cellular phones, assorted drug paraphernalia, and cash proceeds including the marked money.

 

All the arrested persons were charged for violation of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act), while a separate case of RA 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act) were filed against Nale. xxx

 

ASG MEMBER WITH Php600K HEAD PRIZE NABBED BY CIDG

October 20,2016

 

A member of the Abu Sayaff Group (ASG), was nabbed on Wednesday morning (October 19, 2016 at 1:40 AM) by the combined elements of the 9RCIDG, Philippine Army, PNP-SAF, and Maluso Municipal Police Station during a manhunt operation in Brgy. Townsite, Maluso, Basilan Province.

 

By virtue of a Warrant of Arrest (WOA), one Ibrahim AKBAR a.k.a. “Ustadz Atti LINTONGAN” or “Ustadz ATTI” or “Ustadz NAMIR” was arrested for Multiple Murder with Multiple Frustrated Murder. Akbar, was involved in the 2006 bombing incident in Kidapawan, said PSSupt Anthony Aberin, the Regional Chief of 9RCIDG to OIC, CIDG, PCSupt Eliseo T. Rasco.

 

PSSupt Aberin added that said ASG member was also involved in the abduction of Father Blanco in 1993 and fire fight against the AFP troops in 1982 in Maluso, Basilan Province. Subject person has a Joint DND-DILG Monetary Reward amounting to Php600,000.00 for his neutralization.

 

Still in Region 9, four Search Warrants (SWs) were implemented by the same CIDG unit, together with the PPSC Zamboanga Del Sur and Mahayag Municipal Police Station against two members of a criminal group on Thursday morning (October 19, 2016 at around 4:30 AM), in Purok Palayan, Brgy San Isidro, Maghayag, Zamboanga Del Sur.

 

The subjects of the said SWs, who were identified as Julie Monsanto LATO and Rodrigo Monsanto LATO Jr (both members of the “Lato Gun-for-Hire Group), were caught in possession and control of a hand grenade, a shotgun, one calibre .45 pistol, magazines, and assorted ammunition.

 

Cases for violations of RA 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act) and RA 9516 (Illegal Possession of Explosives) are being prepared for filing against the duo. xxx

 

COP AND VILLAGE OFFICIAL NABBED BY CIDG

October 19,2016

 

A 34-year-old PNP member was nabbed on Tuesday evening (October 18, 2016 at about 11:45 PM) during a manhunt operation in Camp Brig. General Oscar Florendo, Brgy Parian, San Fernando City, La Union.

 

Armed with a Warrant of Arrest (WOA) for violation of RA 9262 otherwise known as the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004, issued by Hon. Judge Alpino Florendo of RTC Br. 30, San Fernando City, La Union, one SPO1 Wryan GUNDRAN y Soriano was arrested by the combined elements of La Union CIDG, San Fernando City Police Station, and La Union PPO.

 

PSSupt Amando Lagiwid, the Regional Chief of 1RCIDG said in his report to PCSupt Eliseo T. Rasco, OIC, CIDG, that Gundran is presently assigned with PNP-PRO1 and is now detained at the La Union CIDG Office.

 

Meanwhile, members of the 13RCIDG-RSOT and Bayugan City Police Station collared Cian SAGURAN a.k.a. “Yan” during a police operation on October 18, 2016 (Tuesday), at around 8:40 PM, in Brgy Dakutan, Esperanza, Agusan Del Sur. Saguran, who is the incumbent Brgy. Kagawad of the said Brgy., was caught in possession and control of a calibre .45 pistol and several sachets of suspected shabu.

 

The Regional Chief of 13RCIDG, PSupt Agosto Daskeo, said that Saguran is listed as a High-Value Target on Illegal Drugs by the Agusan Del Sur CIDG.

 

A case for violation of RA 9165 was filed against Saguran. xxx

 

2 ALLEGED DRUG PERSONALITIES-CUM-GANG MEMBERS SURRENDED

October 19,2016

 

Two alleged drug personalities personally appeared before the Office of the Sultan Kudarat CIDG on October 18, 2016 (Tuesday), at around 9:00 AM. Assisted by Brgy. Chairman Loy Caludtiag of Brgy. Tran, Lebak, Sultan Kudarat, one Bebot SIBALIB y Guipal, 38 years old and Sulaiman TATO y Piang, 44 years old, voluntarily surrendered themselves and submitted their Affidavit of Undertaking to refrain from using or selling illegal drugs and to help the authorities by providing information related to illegal drugs activities.

 

In his report to OIC, CIDG, PCSupt Eliseo T. Rasco, PSSupt Felix Servita Jr, the Regional Chief of 12RCIDG, said that both surrenderer are identified members of the “Motalib Group”, which is the subject for neutralization of Sultan Kudarat CIDG.

 

Meanwhile, members of the Pampanga CIDG under the direct supervision of its Regional Chief, PSSupt Edwin Quilates, together with the Pampanga PPO, conducted OPLAN LIGAS operation against one Jess Pamintuan in the evening (6:00 PM) of October 18, 2016 (Tuesday), in Brgy. San Roque Dau, Guagua, Pampanga.

 

Pamintuan, is the one who manages the retailing of LPG and pilferage petroleum or known as “Patulo” or “Paihi” in the said area, was not around during the operation, however, the authorities were able to confiscate 2 gallons containing 70 liters of gasoline worth Php2,100.00, two crates containing 36 liters of gasoline amounting to Php1,080.00, and 5 cylinders of LPG worth Php1,900.00.

MWP ARRESTED BY CIDG; CG MEMBER NEUTRALIZED IN CAVITE ENCOUNTER

October 18,2016

 

A man listed as No. 9 City Level Most Wanted Person (MWP) in Surigao City was nabbed during a manhunt operation by the joint elements of Surigao Del Norte CIDG and Surigao City Police Station, on Monday afternoon (October 17, 2016 at about 5:30 PM), in Brgy Lisondra, Surigao City.

 

In his report to PCSupt Eliseo T. Rasco, OIC, CIDG, PSupt Agosto Daskeo, the Regional Chief of 13RCIDG, identified the suspect as one Felipe LISONDRA y Patinga, 69 years old and wanted for five counts of violation of RA 7610 (Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act), in relation to Article 366 of the RPC.

 

Meanwhile, members of the Cavite CIDG, together with the Cavite PPO, Cavite City Police Station, and Cavite Maritime Police implemented a Search Warrant (SW) for violation of RA 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act) against Jhurenz ORCAS y Ortiz a.k.a. “Juris” in C. Dones St., San Antonio, Brgy. 42-C, Pinagbuklod, Cavite City on October 18, 2016 (Tuesday), at 5:00 PM.

 

Prior to the implementation of the said SW, a fire fight ensued between the police operatives and Orcas, who opened fire at the authorities. Orcas ran and jumped from one roof to another while continuously firing at the police. Few minutes after, the suspect’s dead body was found floating on the sea.

 

In the area of the incident, authorities were able to recover one calibre .38 revolver, a hand grenade, and ammunition; while three sachets of suspected shabu were recovered from the rooftop where Orcas had last jumped.

 

PSSupt Rex Anongos, the Regional Chief of 4A-RCIDG said that Orcas was listed as No. 2 High-Value Target (HVT) of Cavite PPO and was a member of the “Onat Francisco Criminal Group”, which has been a long time subject of operation under COPLAN “DARK HOUR”. xxx

 

4 CHINESE NATIONALS AND 9 ARRESTED; ASSORTED MOTORCYCLE PARTS AND ACCESSORIES SEIZED

October 17,2016

 

Three separate but interrelated police operations were launched by operatives of the Anti-Fraud and Commercial Crimes Unit (AFCCU) and Anti-Organized Crime Unit (AOCU) of the CIDG that resulted to the confiscation of more than Php120,000.00 worth of alleged counterfeit motorcycle parts and accessories and the arrest of 13 individuals, on October 11, 13, and 15, 2016 in Pasay City, Binondo, and Quiapo, Manila, respectively.

 

These operations were based on the complaint lodged by a known distributor of UMA Racing and Racing Boy products to the Office of the AFFCU that certain establishments were selling or distributing the said products, said PSupt Raymund Liguden, AFCCU Chief to PCSupt Eliseo T. Rasco, OIC, CIDG.

 

Armed with Search Warrants (SWs), the CIDG operatives first raided an unnamed store at B4, Parka, Kapitan Ambo St. and GSM Merchandising in Unit A, 56 Russel Center, Russel Avenue, both in Pasay City, on October 11, 2016 (Tuesday) at 11:30 AM, wherein 120 pieces of assorted UMA Racing and Racing Boy products were confiscated. Arrested during the operation were Wei Shun CAI, Amy CAI, Rivers CO (all Chinese Nationals), Joan SABUSAP y Morate, Larizza OSORIO y Ordaniel, and Marissa BAJETA y Maderazo.

 

Meanwhile, on October 13, 2016 (Thursday), at 1:30 PM, seven stalls in 999 Mall in Binondo Manila were searched and found to be keeping the said alleged counterfeit motorcycle parts and accessories. A total of 110 pieces of assorted UMA Racing and Racing Boy products were seized. A Chinese National identified as Chen CHEN, Garilyn BULAN, Meriam LEBRIDO y Fueraz, Joy CONCEPCION y Fernandez, and Alimar BUTALID y Abria were collared during the police operation.

 

While the same CIDG team implemented SWs in four stores in the vicinity of Quiapo, Manila on October 15, 2016 (Saturday), at about 12:30 PM wherein one Vanessa SY and Maricel AM-IS y Angcay were arrested in possession of 184 pieces of UMA Racing and Racing Boy motorcycle parts and accessories.

 

All the arrested persons were charged for violation of Section 168 (Unfair Competition) in relation to Section 170 of RA 8293, otherwise known as Intellectual Property Code of the Philippines. xxx

 

CG MEMBER AND 1 OTHER ARRESTED FOR GUNS AND ILLEGAL DRUGS

A man who is included in the CIDG target list of drug personalities was arrested on Wednesday (October 12, 2016), at about 9:30 AM by the combined elements of CIDG, Batangas PPO, and PPSC-BPPO during the implementation of Search Warrants (SWs) in Sitio Paraiso, , Brgy. Balintawak, Lipa City, Batangas.

 

The subject of the said SWs was identified as one Francisco PANLAQUI y Libuit who was caught in possession of a sachet of suspected shabu, drug paraphernalia, calibre .45 pistol, one calibre .9mm loaded with magazine and ammunition.

 

In a report submitted to PCSupt Eliseo T. Rasco, OIC, CIDG, PSSupt Edwin Quilates, Regional Chief of 3RCIDG, said that Panlaqui, is listed as a High-Value Target (HVT) Drug Personality.

 

Meanwhile, operatives of Nueva Ecija CIDG captured one Rowena SAN PEDRO in the morning of October 12, 2016 (7:20 AM of Wednesday) in Brgy. Homestead 2, Talavera, Nueva Ecija.Armed with a Search Warrant, the said CIDG operatives confiscated 3 sachets of suspected shabu, several ammunition, and drug paraphernalia.

 

PSSupt Quilates added that San Pedro, who is listed as No. 29 Drug Personality, is also a member of the “Lucido Criminal Group” under the COPLAN Sierra Madre.

 

Both Panlaqui and San Pedro were charged for violations of RA 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act) and RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act). xxx

 

CIDG CAUGHT MWP AND FIVE OTHERS IN POLICE OPERATION

October 13,2016

 

Five individuals including a High-Value Target (HVT) were caught by the members of Quezon CIDG during a buy-bust operation on Tuesday (October 11, 2016), at about 3:30 PM in Brgy. Dalahican, Lucena City.

 

One Noel CORONEL, 28 years old; Junel CORONADO, 36 years old; Wilson MARAPAO, 33 years old; Maria Lourdes CORONEL, 25 years old; and Heidi SALONG, 31 years old, were all arrested while in possession and control of five sachets of suspected shabu weighing MOL 1.76 g, drug paraphernalia, and marked money.

 

PSSupt Rex Anongos, the Regional Chief of 4A-RCIDG said in his report to PCSupt Eliseo T. Rasco, Officer-in-Charge of the CIDG, that Coronado is listed as No. 45 HVT in Quezon Province and No. 31 in Lucena City. All the arrested persons were charged for violation of RA 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

 

Meanwhile, members of Laguna CIDG, together with the Laguna PIB and Binan City Police Station, arrested a certain Samuel DELA VEGA y Castro on Wednesday morning (October 12, 2016 at 10:30 AM) in Phase 6, San Jose Village 3, Binang, Binan City, Laguna.

 

PSSupt Anongos added that Dela Vega is tagged as No. 10 Most Wanted Person, Municipal Level in Silang, Cavite. xxx

 

PANGASINAN MWP AND DAET DRUG PERSONALITY ARRESTED

October 11,2016

 

On Monday (October 11, 2016), at about 1:30 PM, combined elements of the Pangasinan CIDG, DAgupan City Police Station, Bugallon Police Station, and HPG-Pangasinan collared two men who are wanted for Murder at the Dagupan Rehabilitation Center, Bonuan, Dagupan City, Pangasinan.

 

In his report to PCSupt Roel B. Obusan, CIDG Acting Director, PSSupt Amando Lagiwid, Regional Chief of 1RCIDG, identified the arrested persons as Zalde VILLACORTA and Joey VILLACORTA.

 

During the police operation, authorities were also able to confiscate a calibre .9mm loaded with magazine and ammunition. Zalde Villacorte, according to PSSupt Lagiwid, is listed as No. 7 Provincial Level Most Wanted Person (MWP) in Pangasinan.

 

Meanwhile, at around 7:00 AM of October 10, 2016 (Monday), live-in partners Jocelyn Macabuhay ARANA and Jerome Anasin TOMAS were caught in possession and control of 13 sachets of suspected shabu weighing MOL 13 g and assorted drug paraphernalia, during the implementation of a Search Warrant (SW) in Brgy. 7, Diego Liñan, Daet, Camarines Norte.

 

Arana is tagged as No. 1 Drug Personality of Daet Municipal Police Station and is also included in the Camarines Norte Drug Personality Target List, said PSSupt Marlon Tejada, 5RCIDG Regional Chief.

RAPE ACCUSED MWPs NABBED; VILLAGE OFFICIAL SURRENDERED

October 6,2016

 

On Tuesday (October 4, 2016), three listed Most Wanted Persons (MWPs) were collared in three separate manhunt operations launched by the members of the CIDG in Camarines Sur, South Cotabato, and Agusan Del Sur.

 

At about 2:30 PM, the detectives of Camarines Sur CIDG, together with Pili Municipal Police Station, arrested Edwin MONTAÑA, in Brgy San Jose, Pili, Camarines Sur. Montaña, who was arrested on the strength of a Warrant of Arrest (WOA) for Statutory Rape, is listed as the No. 3 Municipal Level MWP in Pili MPS, said PSSupt Marlon Tejada, Regional Chief of 5RCIDG.

 

Meanwhile, at around 9:00 AM, one Jesteroy FLORES, who is listed as the No. 4 Municipal Level MWP in Sto. Niño, South Cotabato, was collared by the joint elements of South Cotabato CIDG and Sto. Niño Municipal Police Station, in Purok Negros, Brgy. Sajaneba, Sto. Niño, South Cotabato. Flores, according to the Regional Chief of 12RCIDG, PSupt Felix Servita, is wanted for Rape and is also included in the Target List Personalities of South Cotabato CIDG.

 

While at 12:00 PM, combined manhunt teams of the Agusan Del Sur CIDG, Bunawan Municipal Police Station, Agusan Del Sur PPO, and the Philippine Army, nabbed Rex Prochina CASENAS a.k.a. “Dongkoy” in Purok 3, San Teodoro, Bunawan, Agusan Del Sur by virtue of a WOA for violation of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act).

 

PSupt Agosto Daskeo, the Regional Chief of 13RCIDG, said that Casenas is tagged as No. 2 in the Manhunt Charlie list of Bunawan MPS.

 

In another news, a Brgy. Kagawad, identified as Larry ESTRELLA, voluntarily submitted himself to the La Union CIDG Office, on October 4, 2016, at about 10:15 PM, concerning his involvement in the alleged illegal drugs trading in La Union.

 

In his report to PCSupt Roel B. Obusan, CIDG Acting Director, PSSupt Amando Lagiwid, Regional Chief of 1RCIDG, said that Estrella is a listed High-Value Target (HVT) in La Union and is included in the CIDG Region 1’s target personalities.

 

Estrella executed his Affidavit of undertaking of Voluntary Surrender. xxx

 

9 INDIVIDUALS SURRENDERED TO CIDG, MWP ARRESTED FOR RAPE

October 3,2016

 

Nine alleged drug personalities personally appeared before the office of the CIDG for their alleged involvement in illegal drugs activities in Lucena, Quezon, and South Cotabato.

 

On Tuesday (September 27, 2016), at about 10:00 AM, seven individuals including five listed drug personalities, voluntarily surrendered themselves to the South Cotabato CIDG office through the assistance of Brgy. Chairman Danilo Gonzaga.

 

PSupt Alex Servita Jr, the Regional Chief of 12RCIDG, identified the surrenderers to PCSupt Roel B. Obusan, CIDG Acting Director, as Rey DONASCO y Escovido; Mila RABUT y Borjel a.k.a. “Bukay Borjel”; Edilson SELARTA y Garcia; Jonathan SILVINO y Paniza; Kimboy ARNAIZ y Remilla; Charlie Mayne PEREZ y Demegillo; and Jett PAMATIAN y Balsicas. Donasco, Rabut, Selarta, Silvino, and Arnaiz, were all listed as Drug Personalities wherein, Donasco and Rabut were previously the subject persons of Search Warrants during a police operation last September 21, 2016.

 

Meanwhile, on Wednesday (September 29, 2016), at around 12:30 PM, one Rose Lenie Imam SARIP and Analyn Ladera HERNANDEZ, who were accompanied by Brgy Captain Angelito Maligalig and Brgy. Kagawad Pagar Sarip, voluntarily surrendered to the office of the Lucena CIDG in connection with their alleged involvement on illegal drugs trading.

A MAN WANTED FOR MURDER ARRESTED BY CIDG

Elements of the CIDG based in Quezon launched an anti-illegal drugs operation against Danilo BISPERAS a.k.a. “Danny”, on September 29, 2016 (Thursday), at about 3:00 PM, in Purok Central, Brgy. Ibabang Dupay, Lucena City.

 

Bisperas, after sensing that he is transacting with a police officer, managed to elude arrest however, his companion later identified as Marietto BORGONOS was arrested while in possession of five sachets of suspected shabu weighing MOL 1.4 g, said PSSupt Rex Anongos, 4A-RCIDG Regional Chief, in his report to CIDG Acting Director, PCSupt Roel B. Obusan.

 

Police operatives seized five sachets of suspected shabu weighing MOL 1.2 g and drug paraphernalia, as evidence left by Bisperas. Borgonos was charged for violation of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act), while a manhunt operation is being conducted to trace the whereabouts of Bisperas.

 

Meanwhile, a man who is wanted for Murder with Frustrated Murder, was collared by joint elements of Camarines Norte CIDG and Labo Municipal Police Station in the morning (9:00 AM) of September 29, 2016 (Thursday), in P4, Brgy. CIDG CAPTURES MWP AND 2 OTHERS IN POLICE OPERATIONS

During the implementation of a Search Warrant (SW), a man who is a priority target of the Laguna CIDG was collared by the members of the CIDG based in Laguna, together with Laguna PNP members, and Cabuyao City Police Station, yesterday (September 27, 2016), at around 10:30 AM in Saint Joseph 4, Brgy. Butong, Cabuyao City, Laguna. One Luisito SANTOS y Del Rosario a.k.a. “Set Del Rosario” was arrested for possession and control of a grenade and ammunition for a calibre .45 pistol. Also arrested during police operation, a certain Carlos TAN y Reyes a.k.a. “Tubal”, a visitor of Santos, was also apprehended for possession of one plastic sachet of suspected shabu, lighter, and cash amounting to Php2,200.00.

 

PSSupt Rex Anongos, the Regional Chief of 4A-RCIDG said to CIDG Acting Director, PCSupt Roel B. Obusan that Tan is listed as Illegal Drugs Personality of Sta. Rosa City Police Station. VILLAGE CHIEF SURRENDERED TO CIDG

Earlier today (6:10 AM of September 27, 2016), three guns and several ammunition were seized by the members of the Pangasinan CIDG, together with the Maritime and Binmaley Police Stations, during the implementation of a Search Warrant (SW) in Brgy. Gayaman, Binmaley, Pangasinan.

 

The subject of the said SW, identified as one Renato FLORES y Dela Cruz was arrested wherein aside from guns and ammos, also confiscated from his possession and control were magazine assembly, several fired calibre .38 revolver cartridges, a belt bag, and a sling bag, said PSSupt Amando Lagiwid, the Regional Chief of 1RCIDG.

 

A case for violation of RA 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act) will be filed against Flores.

 

Meanwhile, a 36-year-old Village Chief together with Hon. Mayor Ronald Sana of Mabitac, Laguna, personally appeared at the Laguna CIDG office and voluntarily surrendered and submitted himself for his alleged involvement in illegal drugs trading on September 26, 2016 (Monday), at about 6:00 PM.

Armed with Search Warrants, the detectives of the Davao Occidental CIDG, together with Davao Occidental PPO and Malita MPS, arrested three men including a Brgy. Kagawad, on September 24, 2016 (Saturday), at around 5:30 AM, in Brgy. Fishing Village and Brgy. Tubalan, all of Malita, Davao Occidental.

 

The trio were identified as Ahmad Rudiane SAYADI, Gene Bantolino GONZALES, and Daniel Tigas MAMOLO, a Brgy Kagawad. Confiscated from their possession were 3 guns, 2 rifle grenades, several magazines, assorted ammunition, gun parts, 14 sachets of suspected shabu, 6 cellular phones, cash amounting to more than Php89,000.00, and assorted gambling paraphernalia.

 

PSupt Edilberto Leonardo, the Regional Chief of the CIDG-11, said to PCSupt Roel B. Obusan, CIDG Acting Director, that Sayadi and Mamolo are both listed as Drug Personalities in the said province.

A man and a woman were caught in a buy-bust operation launched by the detectives of Pampanga CIDG, together with the PDEA-3, on Monday (September 19, 2016), at around 4:15 PM, in Brgy. Bulaon, San Fernando City, Pampanga.

 

Arnold HERRERRA a.k.a.”Bulan” and Kimberly ESGUERRA a.k.a. “Violy” were arrested while in possession of a sachet of suspected shabu amounting to Php4,000.00 and marked money. The duo, who were charged for violation of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act), are listed as the No. 5 and 12 Drug Personalities and members of the “Bondoc Criminal Group” engaged in illegal drug trade in Angeles City and Pampanga province, said PSupt Edwin Quiletas, Regional Chief of 3RCIDG.

 

Meanwhile, a woman who is wanted for 38 counts of Qualified Theft was collared by the joint manhunt teams of Laguna CIDG under the direct supervision of its Regional Chief, PSSupt Rex Anongos, Laguna PIB, and Cabuyao City Police Station by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest (WOA), at about 2:00 PM of September 19, 2016 (Monday) in Brgy. While one Wilfredo Ayala MARTINES, who is listed No. 52 High-Value Target (HVT) Drug Personality of Quezon PPO, voluntarily surrendered to Quezon CIDG on the same date, at around 6:00 PM.

 

PSSupt Anongos said to PCSupt Roel B. Obusan, CIDG Acting Director, Martines surrendered and submitted himself at the said CIDG office due to his involvement on illegal drugs trade in the province of Quezon.

FEMALE DRUG PERSONALITY AND DRUG GROUP MEMBERS CAPTURED BY CIDG

Three drug group members and a 42-year-old woman were captured in separate police operations launched by the detectives of the CIDG based in Bulacan and Camarines Norte.

 

On Wednesday (September 14, 2016), at about 4:30 PM, one Robert PANUNGALING, Ramon REYES Jr, and Mark Wendel MARCELO were arrested in a buy-bust operation by the joint elements of Bulacan CIDG, HPG, PIB, and Plaridel MPS, in Banga 2nd, Dike, Plaridel, Bulacan. During the police operation, authorities were able to confiscate three sachets of suspected shabu weighing MOL 1.03 g with an estimate value of Php3,000.00, marked money, and assorted drug paraphernalia.

 

PSupt Edwin Quilates, Regional Chief of 3RCIDG, said that the Panungaling is a listed drug personality while Reyes and Marcelo were listed suspected drug personalities of Bulacan CIDG, and all are members of the “Ramos Drug Group”

 

Meanwhile, one Myrna CHECOMBING y Muñoz, was apprehended on Thursday morning (September 15, 2016 at 5:20 AM) by the Camarines Norte CIDG, together with Camarines Norte PPO, RID-5, and Labo Municipal Police Station, during the implementation of a Search Warrant (SW) in Purok 5, Brgy. Tulay na Lupa, Labo, Camarines Norte wherein seized from her possession were 22 sachets of suspected shabu, a wooden box, and a Php1,000.00 peso bill.

DRUG PERSONALITY CAPTURED IN POLICE OPERATION

A man, who is a High-Value Target (HVT) and No. 5 Drug Personality of Batangas PPO, was nabbed by the Batangas CIDG detectives and Batangas PPO, and PPSC on September 15, 2016 (Thursday) at about 7:45 AM, during the implementation of a Search Warrant in Brgy. Pinagbayanan, Taysan, Batangas.

 

PSSupt Rex Anongos, Regional Chief of 4ARCIDG, identified the suspect as Rolando MANALO y Villena who was caught in possession of three sachets of suspected shabu weighing MOL 5 g amounting to Php15,000.00 and drug paraphernalia.

 

Meanwhile, members of the CIDG in Davao Sur and Sarangani, together with Alabel MPS and Davao City PO, served a Warrant of Arrest (WOA) against a 39-year-old man identified as Renante MODA y Sumlay a.k.a. “Arante Moda” on Wednesday (September 14, 2016), at 7:45 PM, at the Southern Philippines Medical Center, Davao City.

 

The Regional Chief of 12RCIDG, PSupt Felix Servita said to PCSupt Roel B. Obusan, CIDG Acting Director, that Moda, who is wanted for Murder, is currently confined at the said Medical Center in Davao City due to a gun-shoot wound he incurred during a shooting incident between him and a certain Nick Bancil in the evening of September 11, 2016.

 

Moda is being guarded by the personnel of the Davao City Police Station while he is recuperating in the hospital.

 

3 RAPE ACCUSED AND NO. 6 MWP CAPTURED BY CIDG IN SOUTH COTABATO

In T’boli, South Cotabato, three men and a woman were tracked and arrested by the joint manhunt teams of South Cotabato CIDG and T’boli Municipal Police Station in two separate police operations.

 

Armed with Warrants of Arrest (WOAs), one Ronald IGNACIO and John Francisco SUBERPENA, both wanted for two counts of Statutory Rape, were collared this weekend (September 12, 2016), at 4:00 AM, in Brgy. Lambuling, Tboli, South Cotabato.

 

While, on the following day (September 13, 2016), at around 8:20 AM, the same manhunt teams, captured a 46-year-old Peter MISON y Piang, in Brgy. Malugong, T’boli, South Cotabato by virtue of a WOA for two counts of Rape.

 

PSupt Felix Servita, Regional Chief of 12RCIDG, said to PCSupt Roel B. Obusan, CIDG Acting Director, that Mison is listed as the No. 1 Municipal Level Most Wanted Person (MWP) in T’boli, South Cotabato, and a member of the “Katiga Group” allegedly engaged in sexual assault activities operating in far flung areas of Upper Valley, South Cotabato.

 

Meanwhile, a certain Marla HUQUERIZA y Dela Cruz was apprehended on the strength of a WOA for violation of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act) by members of the CIDG based in South Cotabato, together with the Norala MPS, on September 12, 2016 (Sunday), at about 9:00 AM, in Brgy. Norala, South Cotabato,. PSupt Servita added that Huqueriza is tagged as the No. 6 Municipal Level MWP in the target list of CIDG South Cotabato and also a newly identified drug personality engaged in illegal drugs trade operating the said area.

 

All arrested persons are now detained at the CIDG detention facility.

 

DRUG SYNDICATE MEMBER AND 1 OTHER NABBED IN BUY-BUST OPERATION

A member of a drug syndicate and one other were nabbed in a buy-bust operation launched by the members of the Camarines Norte CIDG, together with the Camarines Norte PIB, RID-5 and Mercedes MPS, on Wednesday (September 7, 2016), at about 4:00 PM, in Costabuena Subdivision, Purok 1, Brgy Del Rosario, Mercedes, Camarines Norte.

 

Identified were Bobby June Calimuza ALCALA, 45 years old, and Chona Magana ESPALMADO, 33 years old, wherein confiscated from their possession were 22 sachets of suspected shabu, cash proceeds amounting to Php7,020.00 including the marked money, a cellular phone, a student permit driver’s license bearing the name Bobby June Alcala, and a Toyota Corolla. According to PSSupt Marlon Tejada, 5RCIDG Regional Chief, Alacala is a listed Drug Personality in Camarines Norte and a member of the “Mariano Drug Group” operating within Camarines Norte area.

 

Meanwhile, joint elements of Misamis Oriental CIDG and RAIDSOTG conducted an anti-illegal drugs operation against Junnie MACASERO y Macapayag, 47 years old, on September 7, 2016 (Wednesday), at around 2:55 PM, in Purok 1, Poblacion, Laguindingan, Misamis Oriental.

 

The authorities seized six sachets of suspected shabu weighing MOL 0.60 g amounting to Php5,500.00, two cellular phones, and buy-bust money from from Macasero’s possession. Macasero, who is listed as the No. 8 Target Drug Personality of Laguindingan MPS, was arrested after handing over a sachet of alleged shabu to a CIDG undercover operative, said PSupt Tom Tuzon, Regional Chief of 10RCIDG, to CIDG Acting Director, PCSupt Roel B. Obusan. All arrested persons were charged for violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.

 

HIGH-POWERED GUNS SEIZED, TWO COLLARED IN CIDG’S ANTI-LOOSE FIREARMS CAMPAIGN

Two separate anti-loose firearms operations were launched by the members of the CIDG based in Cavite that resulted in the arrest of two individuals and the seizure of a total of six high-powered firearms, 15 magazines, and more than 200 pieces of ammunition.

 

On Wednesday morning (September 7, 2016 at 8:30 AM), the Cavite CIDG detectives implemented a Search Warrant (SW) against one Allan Manela y Landas in Brgy. Tanzang Luma III, Imus City, Cavite. The subject of the said SW was not around during the police operation however, the searching team was able to confiscate a calibre .22 rifle, a 12 gauge shotgun, two magazines, and 14 pieces of ammunition.

 

While in Region 10, a certain William GALACIO was neutralized and one Catalina ACOSTA was arrested by the combined elements of Bukidnon CIDG and Maramag MPS during and entrapment operation in Purok 1B, South Poblacion, Maramg, Bukidnon on September 6, 2016 (Monday) at around 1:40 AM. PSupt Tom Tuzon, Regional Chief of 10RCIDG said that confiscated during the police operation were three sachets of suspected shabu weighing MOL 10 g amounting to Php90,000.00, a caliber .45 pistol, and buy-bust money.

 

In his report to PCSupt Roel B. Obusan, CIDG Acting Director, the Regional Chief of CIDG-4A, PSSupt Rex Anongos, said that PERIDO and Rowelito VILLA were arrested for possession and control of an M14 rifle, one calibre .45 pistol, seven magazines, and 82 pieces of assorted ammunition.

 

While in the premises of Rodolfo Villa, who was not around during the police operation, the searching team was able to seize a 12 gauge shotgun, an M16 rifle, 114 pieces of assorted ammunition, six magazines, and a black bandolier. A case for violation of RA 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act) were filed against all the arrested persons, while continuous manhunt operations were being conducted by the CIDG against Rodolfo Villa and Manela.

 

OVER PHP1M WORTH SUSPECTED SHABU SEIZED, AN EX-POLICE NEUTRALIZED

More than Php1M worth of illegal drugs were seized, while five suspected drug personalities including two High-Value Targets (HVTs) were captured and an ex-PNP was neutralized during separate police operations launched by the members of the CIDG in Regions NCR, 10, and 13. Aside from the seized illegal drugs, the authorities also confiscated a gun, Php2,300.00 cash including the marked money, and assorted drug paraphernalia.

 

On Tuesday morning (September 7, 2016 at 3:00 AM), the detectives of NCRCIDG-Quezon City under the direct supervision of its Regional Chief, PSSupt Belli Tamayo, together with the DSOU-CIDG, and QCPD nabbed one Neng BALUYOT a.k.a “Beng” and Rebecca SANTOS a.k.a. “Bekang”, during a buy-bust operation in Brgy. Cruz na Ligas, Quezon City wherein confiscated from their possession were five sachets of suspected shabu, marked money, and assorted drug paraphernalia.

 

While in Region 10, a certain William GALACIO was neutralized and one Catalina ACOSTA was arrested by the combined elements of Bukidnon CIDG and Maramag MPS during and entrapment operation in Purok 1B, South Poblacion, Maramg, Bukidnon on September 6, 2016 (Monday) at around 1:40 AM. Meanwhile, two HVTs Drug Personalities of Surigao Del Norte CIDG and Surigao Del Norte PPO were collared on September 6, 2016 (Tuesday), at about 8:15 PM at the Bus Terminal, Purok-1, Brgy. Holy Redeemer, Butuan City by joint teams of Surigao Del Norte CIDG, RMU-13, and Surigao Del Norte PPO. More than Php940,000.00 worth of illegal drugs or nine sachets of suspected shabu, marked money, and assorted drug paraphernalia were seized from the possession and control of Durante ANTEPASADO, listed No. 1 Drug Target Personality of SDNPPO and one Marife ANTEPASADO. PSupt Agosto Daskeo, Regional Chief of 13RCIDG said that Durante Antepasado is the leader of the “Durante Criminal Group”, engaged in illegal drugs trade in Surigao Del Norte and Sargiao Island while Marife Antepasado is a member of the said group.

 

All arrested persons were charged for violation of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act), while additional case for violation of RA 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act) were filed against Galacio and Acosta.

 

CIDG NABS HVT DRUG PERSONALITY AND 2 OTHERS

On Saturday (September 3, 2016), at about 1:00 PM, members of the CIDG in Southern NCR, together with the Taguig CPS and Laguna CIDG, captured a High-Value Target (HVT) Drug Personality during the service of a Warrant of Arrest (WOA) along Orchids St., corners Waling-Waling St., Panma Village, Brgy. Pinagsama, Taguig City.

 

Eduardo CALUMPIANO, who is the subject of the WOA, was arrested for violation of RA 6425 (The Dangerous Drugs Act of 1972) and PD 1866 (Illegal Possession of Firearms and Ammunition). PSSupt Belli Tamayo, Regional Chief of NCRCIDG said that Calumpiano operates his drug transactions in Taguig City.

 

Meanwhile, in Brgy. Tanza, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan, one Oliver CALAGUI was nabbed by the members of CIDG based in Cagayan and Aparri under the direct supervision of its Regional Chief, PSSupt Peter Naboye, during the conduct of a buy-bust operation, at around 3:45 PM of September 4, 2016 (Sunday). Seized from the suspects possession and control were two sachets of suspected shabu and marked money.

 

In a report to CIDG Acting Director, PCSupt Roel B. Obusan, Calagui is listed as the No. 5 Drug Personality of Cagayan CIDG and the subject of COPLAN “Meth Oliver”. Calagui was charged for violation of RA 9165 also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

 

In another news, detectives of Bacolod CIDG apprehended Roger DELLISAN on Sunday (September 4, 2016), at 10:20 AM in Sitio Bali, Brgy. Agboy, Candoni, Negros Occidental. Dellisan, according to PSSupt Francisco Esguerra, Regional Chief of 18RCIDG, was arrested on the strength of a WOA for the crimes of Homicide and Murder.

 

DRUG PERSONALITY KILLED; MWP ARRESTED IN CIDG POLICE OPERATION

A listed No. 2 Drug Personality of Libmanan, Camarines Sur was killed in a shootout with the Camarines Sur CIDG detectives and Libmanan MPS during a buy-bust operation on Sunday afternoon (September 4, 2016 at 1:50 PM), along Quema St., Brgy. Taban Fundado, Libmanan, Camarines Sur.

 

PSSupt Marlon Tejada, Regional Chief of 5RCIDG identified the neutralized suspect as one Amadeo PORTIN Jr y Jordan, engaged himself in a gunfight after sensing that he was transacting with the police. Recovered from the crime scene were one calibre .38 revolver loaded with ammunition, one fired cartridge, seven plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance believed to be “shabu”, and Php500.00 bill marked money. The SOCO team from Camarines Sur PCLO has processed the crime scene while the cadaver of Portin was brought at crime laboratory for proper disposition.

PSupt Raymund Liguden, AFCCU Chief said in his report to CIDG Acting Director, PCSupt Roel B. Obusan, that the arrested person was identified as Tanyi Gregory ENOW a.k.a. “Diplomat Johnson”, 52 years old, a native of Kumba, Central Africa, and temporarily staying at the Central Park, Evangelista St, Makati City. AFCCU Chief added that the police operation was based on the complaint of one Neliza Navales who averred that she already gave almost Php2M to the companions of Enow in the persons of James Fadel and Clifford Campbell for a box of dollars. However, the victim could not contact the said companions until the suspect called her up offering a box of diamonds and dollars. Sensing that she was being deluded or deceived, she went to the CIDG to seek assistance, thus the operation.

 

Enow was arrested while in the act of receiving the marked money from the complainant/victim in exchange for a box allegedly containing diamonds and dollars. Recovered from the suspect’s possession were one white envelope containing the marked money, mobile phone, several identification cards, a credit card, and an Alien Certificate of Registration. Enow is charged for violations of Article 315 of the RPC (Estafa) and RA 6085 (Illegal Use of Alias).

 

 

HVT DRUG PERSONALITY SURRENDERS TO CIDG

On Thursday (September 1, 2016), at about 8:15 AM, members of the South Cotabato CIDG, together with Banga MPS, collared one Judy COJO y Panizales a.k.a “Dondon Cojo”, during a manhunt operation in Sitio Lamkot, Brgy. Malaya, Banga, South Cotabato.

 

35-year-old Cojo, who is wanted for violation of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act), is the CIDG South Cotabato’s listed as the No. 8 Municipal Level Most Wanted Person (MWP) and listed as AN Illegal Drugs Personality. PSupt Felix Servita Jr, Regional Chief of CIDG-12, said in his report to CIDG Acting Director, PCsupt Roel Obusan, that Cojo is a member of the “Ambalgan Group”, engaged in illegal drugs trade activities operating in South Cotabato wherein its leader, Usmenia Ambalgan, was already arrested by the same unit on February 2016. The suspect is reportedly been active in dealing illegal drugs in Banga, South Cotabato, added PSupt Servita. The arrested person is now detained at the CIDG detention facility in South Cotabato.

 

Meanwhile, one Edgardo LAVIÑA a.k.a.”Egaput” voluntarily surrendered to the Laguna CIDG on September 1, 2016 (Thursday), at around 7:00 AM. Laviña told the CIDG that his surrender is brought about by his involvement on illegal drugs trade and promised to renew himself; and to refrain from using illegal drugs. PSSupt Rex Anongos, Regional Chief of CIDG-4A, said that Laviña is listed as the No. 4 High-Value Target (HVT) Drug Personality, who willingly opted to cooperate with the authorities in the intensive campaign against illegal drugs.

 

CIDG NETS 2 FOR SHIPMENT OF SMUGGLED GUN PARTS WORTH PHP4.5M

Twenty-three personalities, including the nine who voluntarily surrendered or appeared before the Major Crimes Investigation Unit (MCIU) of the CIDG, who reportedly transacted with BRYAN TA-ALA Y CONSTANTINO and WILFORD PALMA Y ZARCENO, have expressed their willingness to cooperate with the investigation being conducted by CIDG on the shipment, trading, and selling of smuggled gun parts.

 

The nine who voluntarily surrendered or appeared to the CIDG were identified as Ronald Santos y Galliguez, Ryan Douglas y Rios, Charlie Saavedra, Escalante Joe Alian, Edwin Zambas y Angeles, Maribel Bautista, Larry Paet, Santiago Macariola Inoferio Jr, and Roderick Oliveros. A total of 15 gun parts composed of seven upper receivers, a butt, a handgrip, two magazine assemblies, and 4 bolt assemblies were surrendered and received by the CIDG.

 

In an earlier report, Ta-ala and Palma, both from Bacolod City, were arrested for violation of RA 10591 by detectives of CIDG, together with members of PRO 18, during the conduct of police operation against loose firearms at ATLAS, Villa Cristina Subdivision, Brgy Tangub, Bacolod City, on August 6, 2016, at about 11:00 AM. Confiscated from the suspects was a package box containing the following items with estimated value of Php4.5M: Trigger Housing Group – 35 pcs; Buffer Spring Lock – 15 pcs; Barrel – 10 pcs; Rail w/o barrel – 1 pc; Rail with barrel with one (1) suppressor- 1unit; Butt Assembly color black – 10 pcs; Butt Assembly color gray – 5 pcs; Buffer Spring Guide – 15 pcs; Quick Detach Scope Mount - 5 pcs; Upper Receiver (M4 carbine) – 60 pcs; and Beverage Entry Tool – 2 pcs.

 

A case was filed against the suspects for violation of RA 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act). Palma underwent the inquest proceedings before the State Prosecutor’s Office at DOJ, Manila on August 8, 2016 (Monday).

 

The modus operandi of the suspects is by using fictitious names and false documents when claiming the packages with the contraband of different firearms component parts which are bought in the US, and shipped to the country through the use of legitimate international cargo forwarders. The items are then sold to gun enthusiasts across the country, which are then shipped to customers using local courier services.

 

According to Palma, there were previous deliveries from the US which were facilitated through Atlas Shippers International Incorporated, involving the delivery of 104 different Major Component Parts for 5.56 caliber rifle; and two hundred ninety eight (298) Minor Component Parts for 5.56 rifle, accessories, and bullet proof vests, which were all delivered on different occasions to 129 personalities and one (1) company across the country.

 

Per records of the Firearms and Explosives Office-Records Section (FEO-RS) on the said personalities, twenty-eight (28) are registered firearms holders, thirty (30) with no records found in the FEO-FIMS database, while the other twelve (12) cannot be determined because of having the same names but with different middle names.

 

CIDG investigators-on-case are still looking on the buyers of firearms, components, and/or accessories from a registered gun and ammo dealer stated in Palma’s affidavit, while they are also in the process of contacting the other listed personalities involved in the said transactions for their cooperation.
