THIEVES ARRESTED IN CIDG’S MANHUNT OPERATION

December 21, 2016

 

In Pampanga, particularly in South Daang Bakal, Mabalacat City, detectives of CIDG based thereat, arrested one Apple DE JESUS during a buy-bust operation on December 20, 2016 (Tuesday), at around 6:00 PM.

 

De Jesus was caught while in possession of two sachets of suspected shabu, marked money, and a motorcycle.

 

The arrested person is a known member of the “Mallari Criminal Group” involved in illegal drugs trades and carnapping, said PSSupt Edwin Quilates, 3RCIDG Regional Chief to PCSupt Roel B. Obusan, CIDG Acting Director.

 

Meanwhile, in Region 12, the members of the CIDG based in Sarangani under the direct supervision of its Regional Chief, PSSupt Felix Servita Jr, together with Alabel Municipal Police Station and Sarangani PIB, launched separate manhunt operations that resulted to the arrest of two men who were wanted for theft.

 

In the afternoon (4:30 PM) of December 16, 2016 (Friday), in Brgy. Baluntay, Alabel, Sarangani Province, the said manhunt team, arrested 49-year-old Richard DELA CRUZ y Moreno by virtue of Warrant of Arrest (WOA) for Theft issued by Hon. Judge Marie Grace Entila-Ebordeof of 2nd MCTC, Sarangani Province.

 

Dela Cruz is also wanted for Rape in the issued WOA of Hon. Judge Bill Ybarley of RTC Br 38, also in Alabel, Sarangani, Province.

 

While at around 4:45 PM of December 20, 2016 (Tuesday), a certain Sabdane SUIB y Macmod, 40 years old, was arrested on the strength of a WOA, also for theft issued by Hon. Judge Bill Ybarley of RTC Br 38, Alabel, Sarangani, Province. xxx

6 BUSTED BY CIDG FOR DRUG PEDDLING

 

December 20, 2016

 

 

In a buy-bust operation, six persons including three members of a criminal group were captured by joint elements of Surigao Del Norte CIDG, RPSB-13, Surigao Del Norte PPO, Surigao City Police Station, RMU-13, and PDEA-13, on December 17, 2016 (Saturday), at 5:00 PM in Annex Hotel Tavern, Borromeo St., Brgy. Taft, Surigao City.

 

 

Inside Room No. 308 of the said hotel, one Iven NAVARRO y Torrecampo a.k.a. “Jiggs”, 34 years old; Magnane GALES y Chua a.k.a. “Botchoi”, 33 years old; Troy John TAGLUCOP y Maglente a.k.a. “Bots”, 25 years; Clifford LAFUENTE y Yepis a.k.a. “Ford”, 22 years old; Maria Christy CELADES y Espinola a.k.a. “Kadat”, 29 years old; and Sharon ECOBEN y Impas a.k.a. “Sha, 26 years old, were captured by the operating team wherein confiscated from their possession and control were 18 sachets containing suspected shabu, cash proceeds including the marked money, and assorted drug paraphernalia.

 

 

In his report to PCSupt Roel B. Obusan, CIDG Acting Director, 13RCIDG Regional Chief, PSupt Agosto Daskeo, said that Navarro, Taglucop, and Gales are members of the “Jiggs Navarro Group” engaged in Illegal Drugs Trafficking operating in the areas of Surigao Del Norte and Dinagat Island Province.

 

 

All the arrested persons were charged for violation of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act).

 

 

Meanwhile, in Brgy. Liwayway, Sta Rosa, Nueva Ecija, a sachet of suspected shabu, an improvised shotgun known as sumpak, and assorted drug paraphernalia were seized from the possession of Aries ABOGADO and James GONZALES, during a buy-bust operation launched by the detectives of Nueva Ecija CIDG under the direct supervision of its Regional Chief, PSSupt Edwin Quilates, together with Sta Rosa Municipal Police Station on Monday, (December 19, 2016) at around 7:40 PM.

 

 

Cases for violations of RA 9165 and RA 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act) were charged against the duo. xxx


EXPLOSIVES AND SHABU SEIZED IN TOWN MAYOR’S VEHICLES

 

Decemeber 16, 2016

 

 

Thirty (30) Search Warrants (SWs) were simultaneously implemented by the members of the CIDG-ARMM, together with the PNP-ARMM personnel, AKG-MFU, RUI-15, Maguidanao PPO, PDEA-ARMM, and Philippine Army, against former Talitay town Mayor Montasir SABAL, in the morning of December 15, 2016 (7:30 AM of Thursday) in Brgy. Gadungan and Brgy. Pagida, Talitay, Maguindanao.

 

 

PSupt Jimmy Daza, the Regional Chief of ARMMCIDG said to CIDG Acting Director, PCSupt Roel B. Obusan that former Mayor Sabal owned 10 vehicles situated in the said Brgys., wherein the searching teams were able to confiscate one 60MM mortar, a RPG, two 81MM mortars, a hand grenade, and four sachets of suspected shabu weighing MOL 50 grams amounting to Php175,000.00.

 

 

The former Mayor was not around during the conduct of operation, however, the search was done in the witness of the Brgy Officials thereat and by Acting Talitay Mayor Kamid Buisan.

 

 

Cases for violations of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act) and RA 9516 (Illegal Possession of Explosives) was filed against Sabal.

 

 

Meanwhile, combined elements of Zambales CIDG and PDEA, arrested Abdul Jamal ANLALI a.k.a. “Ansura” and Gani OKERIA a.k.a. “Gani” during a buy-bust operation in Purok 6B, Calapacuan, Subic, Zambales, on Thursday (December 15, 2016), at around 7:10 PM.

 

 

Seized from the suspects’ possession and control were one sachet of suspected shabu, a calibre .38 revolver loaded with ammunition, and marked money.

 

 

Anlali is listed as No. 7 Drug Personalities of Zambales CIDG.

 

 

The duo were charged for violations of RA 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act) and RA 9165. xxx

 

MWP AND 2 OTHERS CAPTURED IN CIDG’S ANTI-CRIMINALITY POLICE OPERATIONS

 

Decemeber 15, 2016

 

 

The detectives of Ilocos Norte CIDG together with Pinili and Pasuquin Municipal Police Stations, collared a 48-year-old man during a manhunt operation in Brgy. Poblacion, Pasuquin, Ilocos Norte on December 14, 2016 (Wednesday), at about 1:30 PM.

 

 

One Moises NAIDAS y Pagdilao a.k.a. “David” was arrested by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest (WOA) for violation of RA 9516 (Illegal Possession of Explosives), and is listed as No. 6 Most Wanted Person (MWP) in Pinili, Ilocos Norte, said PSSupt Amando Lagiwid, Regional Chief of 1RCIDG.

 

 

Meanwhile, a Level 3 High-Value Target (HVT) personality was nabbed by combined elements of CIDG Region 6 RSOT and Ajuy Municipal Police Station during the implementation of a Search Warrant (SW), on Wednesday (December 14, 2016), at around 2:40 PM in Brgy. Tanduyan, Ajuy, Iloilo.

 

 

During the search, the authorities were able to confiscate three calibre .45 pistols, magazines, and assorted ammunition from the possession and control of Ernesto BALBAGUIO, the subject of the said SW.

 

 

Allegedly, Balbaguio is involved with the “Rolando Torpio Group” engaged in illegal activities in Iloilo City, said PSSupt Marlon Tayaba, 5RCIDG Regional Chief.

 

 

A case for violation of RA 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act) was filed against Balbaguio.

 

 

In another news, a 43-year-old male was caught in an anti-illegal drugs operation conducted by Sorsogon CIDG, together with Matnog Municipal Police Station, Sorsogon PNP, RPSB5, RMU and RIU 5, on Thursday morning (December 15, 2016, 5:50 AM), in Brgy. Camcaman, Matnog, Sorsogon.

 

 

PSSupt Marlon Tejada, Regional Chief of 5RCIDG, said in his report to CIDG Acting Director, PCSupt Roel B. Obusan, that Aldrin GARAY y Gazo was captured while in possession of 14 sachets of suspected shabu.

 

 

Garay is listed No. 6 Drug Personality in Matnog, Sorsogon and will be facing charges for violation for RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act). xxx

 

CG MEMBER KILLED IN ENCOUNTER WITH POLICE

 

December 15, 2016

 

 

In the morning of December 14, 2016 (at about 6:10 AM, Wednesday), a member of a Criminal Gang was killed during an encounter with the detectives of Pangasinan CIDG, Pangasinan PPO, and San Carlos City Police Station in Brgy. Payar, San Carlos City, Pangasinan.

 

 

PSSupt Amando Lagiwid, Regional Chief of 1RCIDG, identified the killed suspect to PCSupt Roel B. Obusan, CIDG Acting Director, as one Leo PONCE y Mendoza, the subject of the Search Warrant (SW) for violation of RA 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act).

 

 

PSSupt Lagiwid added that while the said raiding team was implementing the said SW, Ponce ran outside using the backdoor of his residence and successively fired towards the raiding team prompting the police to retaliate hitting the suspect.

 

 

Ponce was brought to the Virgen Milagrosa Medical Center for medical treatment, however pronounced dead on arrival by the attending physician while a team from SOCO processed the crime scene.

 

 

The raiding team, as witnessed by the Officials of Brgy. Payar and Ponce’s wife, were able to seized from Ponce’s house a magazine for M16 rifle, holster, and magazine pouch, while the SOCO team were able to recover from the crime scene a calibre .45 pistol, magazine, ammunition, and several fired cartridges.

 

 

Ponce, who is listed as high-value target of San Carlos City Police Station, is also a member of the “Darema Group” involved in illegal drugs activities, gun-for-hire, and robbery/hold-up operating in San Carlos City and 3rd District of Pangasinan. XXX

 

8 ARRESTED IN CIDG POLICE OPERATION; PHP100T WORTH OF SHABU SEIZED

 

Decemeber 14, 2016

 

 

Eight individuals were nabbed by the combined elements ofMetro Cebu CIDG, CIDG7-SOT, Cebu City Police Office, and RPSB7 during a drug buy-bust operation on Tuesday afternoon (December 13, 2016 at 3:40 PM) in Sitio Bato-Carbon, Brgy. Ermita, Cebu City.

 

 

The Regional Chief of 7RCIDG, PSSupt Edgar Cacayan, said to CIDG Acting Director, PCSupt Roel B. Obusan, that a certain James Albert BELTRAN Jr, the subject of the said police operation, was arrested while in possession and control of four sachets of suspected shabu weighing MOL 25 grams amounting to Php100,000.00, assorted drug paraphernalia, and cash proceeds including the buy-bust money.

 

 

One Dexter Cobcoban SIBUNGHANOY, Richard Singco BARNAYJA, Raymund Briol LETRAGO, Hanibal Fernandez SOCOROM, Ricky Marinduque REDOBLE, Vincent Estilloro PORAS, and Vincent Orio MOLEJON, were caught while in the act of sniffing shabu.

 

 

All arrested persons were charged for violation of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act).

 

 

Meanwhile, detectives of Bukidnon CIDG along with Don Carlos Municipal Police Station and PPSC Bukidnon, implemented a Search Warrant against Mario TALARA that led to his arrest on December 13, 2016 (Tuesday), at about 6:30 AM in Purok 3, Brgy. New Bisayas, Don Carlos, Bukidnon for possession of a calibre .9MM pistol, one calibre .45 pistol, several magazines, cartridges, and a holster.

 

 

Talara is the incumbent Brgy. Captain of New Bisayas in the said Municipality, said PSupt Tom Tuzon, 10RCIDG Regional Chief.

 

 

Talara was charge for violation of RA 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act). xxx

 

FIREMAN AND MUNICIPAL LEVEL MWP CAPTURED BY CIDG

 

December 14, 2016

 

 

On Tuesday early morning (December 13, 2016 at 5:00 AM), joint elements of South Cotabato CIDG and Tantangan Municipal Police Station, collared a 36-year-old man during a manhunt operation in Brgy. Maibo, Tantangan, South Cotabato.

 

 

PSSupt Felix Servita, Regional Chief of 12RCIDG, identified the arrested person as Abubakar UGALINGAN y Cinete, who is wanted for violation of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act) and listed as No. 5 Most Wanted Person (Municipal Level) in that Municipality.

 

 

PSSUpt Servita said in his report to PCSupt Roel B. Obusan, CIDG Acting Director, that Ugalingan is a known member of the “Adiong Group” engaged in gun-for-hire and illegal drugs trade activities operating in South Cotabato.

 

 

Meanwhile, a member of the Bureau of Fire Protection was apprehended in a drug buy-bust operation conducted by the Oriental Mindoro CIDG, together with 4BRCIDG-RSOT, PIB Oriental Mindoro, RAIDSOTG, PPSC, and Naujan Municipal Police Station on December 13, 2016, at around 6:05 PM in Sitio Curva, Brgy. Pinagsabangan 2, Naujan Oriental Mindoro.

 

 

Fire Officer 1 Elbert Bunyi CARINGAL, 38 years old, was arrested in possession of six sachets of suspected shabu, marked money, and drug paraphernalia.

 

 

PSSupt Zacarias Noel Villegas, 4BRCIDG Regional Chief said that Caringal was formerly arrested by the Pinamalayan Municipal Police Station for the same offense sometime on May 2012 and currently out on bail.

MUNICIPAL MWP NABBED FOR ARSON

 

December 13, 2016

 

 

A 44-year-old male listed as No. 6 Municipal Level Most Wanted Person (MWP) in Banga, South Cotabato was nabbed by the combined elements of South Cotabato, during the service of a Warrant of Arrest (WOA) on Monday (December 12, 2016), at about 8:00 AM in Sitio Elbalbong, Brgy. Rang-ay, in that Municipality.

 

 

PSSupt Felix Servita, the Regional Chief of 12RCIDG, identified the suspect to CIDG Acting Director, PCSupt Roel B. Obusan, as Edwin TIANO y Romo, who is wanted for Arson and a member of the “Ambalgan Group”, known for their notorious illegal drugs trade activities operating in South Cotabato.

 

 

Meanwhile, seven individuals were captured in a drug buy-bust operation launched by Rizal CIDG, together with 4ARCIDG, Rizal PIB, and Antipolo City Police Station in the evening of December 12, 2016 (11:10 PM of Monday) in Purok Silangan, Brgy Dela Paz, Antipolo City.

 

 

Police operatives arrested Jonathan BALOLOY y Realano a.k.a. “Eduardo Lara” or “Taneg”, Ronilo CARGINO y Manzana a.k.a “Kosa”, Apolinario GERODIAS y Tomis, Jorlie LLAIT y Bautista a.k.a. “Nonoy”, Tyrone JOHN ROMITMAN y Notu, Junnel ENTENDEZ y Cawale, and Mark Anthony ROMITMAN y Notug.

 

 

Three sachets of suspected shabu weighing MOL 0.60 grams, marked money, and assorted drug paraphernalia were confiscated from the arrested persons’ possession and control.

 

 

Baloloy and Cargino are both members of the “Toledo Criminal Group” involved in Robbery, Theft, and Illegal Drugs Trade, operating in the area of Antipolo City, said 4ARCIDG Regional Chief, PSSupt Rex Anongos.

SURRENDER ARRESTED AFTER BEING CAUGHT IN BUY-BUST OPERATION

 

December 12, 2016

 

 

After his voluntary surrender in the PNP’s OPLAN TOKHANG earlier, a Brgy. Kagawad was arrested during a buy-bust operation launched by the joint elements of Capiz CIDG, PAIDSOTG, and RPSB6 on December 10 (Saturday), at around 5:00 PM in Brgy. Bago Chiquito, Panay, Capiz.

 

 

Identified as Mark BIALEN, the incumbent Brgy Kagawad of the said Brgy. was caught in possession and control of three sachets of suspected shabu and buy-bust money.

 

 

PSSupt Malon Tayaba, 6RCIDG Regional Chief, said that Bialen is a high-value target (HVT) of Panay Municipal Police Station.

 

 

Meanwhile, detectives of Surigao Del Norte CIDG, together with RPSB13, RIU13, and PDEA13, implemented a Search Warrant (SW) that resulted in the apprehension of Joselito PATIGAYON a.k.a. “Nadnad” or “Manok”, on Friday (December 9, 2016) at about 4:00 PM in Purok Magdamayan, Brgy. Agusan Pequenio, Butuan City.

 

 

A total of Php108,000.00 worth of suspected shabu, weighing MOL 15 grams packed in five plastic sachets, a calibre .38 revolver, ammunition, and assorted drug paraphernalia were seized in the possession of Patigayon.

 

 

PSupt Agosto Daskeo, Regional Chief of 13RCIDG, said that Patigayon is listed as HVT of Agusan Del Norte CIDG.

 

 

A case for violation of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act) was filed against Bialen and Patigayon, while additional case for violation of RA 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act) was filed against Patigayon.

 

 

In another news, one Arlene MONDIGUIN, tagged as No. 5 City Level Most Wanted Person (MWP) in Baguio City was nabbed by Benguet CIDG, under the direct supervision of its Regional Chief, PSSupt Angeles Genorga Jr. on December 9, 2016 (Friday), 2:00 PM, in Clark, Pampanga.

 

 

Mondiguin is wanted for Estafa and is a member of the “Amistad Swindling Group”. xxx

 

4.5M WORTH OF COUNTERFEIT UNILEVER PRODUCTS SEIZED, 3 CHINESE NATIONALS & 4 FILIPINOS ARRESTED BY CIDG

 

December 10, 2016

 

 

Acting on the complaint of UNILEVER PHILIPPINES, the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group was able to arrest 3 Chinese Nationals and 4 Filipinos, and was able to confiscate 4.5M worth of UNILEVER
products in two separate areas, one in a store in Quiapo, Manila and another in a storage-cum-warehouse in Potrero, Malabon.

 

 

On December 9, 2016, at about 12:30 PM, armed with Search Warrants and accompanied by representatives from O.M. Manahan and Associates in behalf of their client UNILEVER Philippines and UNILEVER NV, operatives of CIDG, Anti-Fraud and Commercial Crimes Unit proceeded to two different locations, one in Carriedo Plaza, Carriedo Street, Quiapo, Manila and in a storage-cum-warehouse in located at No. 38, Industrial Avenue, Potrero Malabon, and implemented the said search warrants. During the two separate operations, the operatives were able to arrest 3 Chinese Nationals and 4 Filipino cohorts and were able to seize counterfeit UNILEVER products, specifically Dove and Vaseline products with an estimated market value of 4.5M.

 

 

The seized counterfeit UNILEVER products were turned over to O.M. Manahan and Associates for temporary safekeeping to prevent pilferage, damage or loss.

 

 

In his report to CIDG Acting Director, PCSupt Roel B Obusan, PSupt Raymund A Liguden , AFFCU Chief, cases for violation of Section 155 (Trademark Infringement) RA 8293 (Intellectual Property Code of the Philippines) are being prepared for inquest against the arrested suspects.xxxx

 

COP AND DRUG GROUP MEMBER NABBED IN CIDG POLICE OPERATION

 

December 9, 2016

 

 

A PNP member and a drug group member were nabbed during separate buy-bust operations launched by CIDG on Thursday (December 8, 2016) in Iloilo and Negros Oriental.

 

 

At around 12:55 AM, combined elements of Region 6 RSOT CIDG, RPSB6, and Iloilo City Police Office Stations 3 and 4, arrested PO1 Henson DIGON in Brgy. North Baluarte, Molo, IIoilo City.

 

 

DIGON, who is presently assigned at the RHSG-PRO6, was caught in possession and control of three sachets of suspected shabu, a calibre .9MM pistol, magazines, ammunition, PNP ID, buy-bust money, tow cellular phones, and a motorcycle unit.

 

 

PSSupt Marlon Tayaba, 6RCIDG Regional Chief said to CIDG Acting Director, PCSupt Roel B. Obusan, that said police operation was based on the disclosure of Willian Uy and Loracel Celiz, who were earlier arrested by the same CIDG Unit, about their source of illegal drugs.

 

 

Meanwhile, under the direct supervision of PSSupt Francisco Esguerra, Regional Chief of 18RCIDG, Negros Oriental CIDG detectives, together with PDEA-NOR and Tanjay City Police Station, collared Julito BANICO a.k.a. “Botoy” during a buy-bust operation at about 4:25 PM of same date, in Brgy. 7, Tanjay City, Negros Oriental.

 

 

Police operatives seized two sachets of suspected shabu and a calibre .38 revolver fhe possession of Banico.

 

 

Banico is a listed member of the “Belandres Drug Group” operating in Negros Oriental.

 

 

Both Digon and Banico were charged for violations of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act) and RA 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act). xxx

 

EX-VILLAGE CHIEF AND 3 OTHER ARRESTED;  GUNS AND AMMO SEIZED

 

December 9, 2016

 

 

Four (4) guns, several magazines and assorted ammunition were seized, while four individuals including a former Brgy. Captain were arrested by the members of the CIDG, together with the Provincial PNP Units, during its conduct of the anti-loose firearms operations on December 8, 2016 (Thursday) in Regions 1, 3, and 6.

 

 

Police operatives were able to confiscate 3 caliber .45 pistols, a 12 gauge shotgun, eight magazines, and over 50 pieces of ammunition in the possession and control of one Maximino CALIBOSO, Ferdinand ORTIZ, Leonardo ARELLANO, and ex-Brgy Chairman Jose MARTE.

 

 

Caliboso was arrested at about 6:30 AM in Brgy. Calanutian, Sinait, Ilocos Sur while Ortiz was caught at around 6:00 AM in Brgy. Burol, Gen. Natividad, Nueva Ecija. Arellano was apprehended at 6:30 AM in Brgy. Palihan, Hermosa, Bataan and Marte was collared at around 9:25 AM in Brgy. Igbong, Barotac Nuevo, Iloilo.

 

 

Meanwhile, a concerned citizen identified as Jerome Schroth y Gamboa, a resident of Brgy. San Idisro Norte, Binmaley, Pangasinan turned-over a homemade calibre .5.56 pistol to the Office of the Pangasinan CIDG on the same date, at about 2:30 PM.

 

 

In his report to PCSupt Roel B. Obusan, CIDG Acting Director, PSSupt Amando Lagiwid, 1RCIDG Regional Chief, said that allegedly, the said firearm was found by Schroth along the grassy portion in that Brgy.

 

 

All confiscated firearms including the turned-over gun were brought to the respective PNP Crime Laboratory Offices for ballistic and cross-matching examination while separate cases for violation of RA 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act) were filed against the arrested persons. xxx

 

1 KILLED IN ENCOUNTER; DRUGS AND GUNS SEZIED

 

December 8, 2016

 

 

A 41-year-old man tagged as No. 3 Drug Personality of Albay and No. 4 of Oas, Albay was killed during a police encounter in the afternoon of December 7, 2016 (2:51 PM of Wednesday) in Purok 1, Brgy. Iraya Norte, Oas, Albay.

 

 

In his report to PCSupt Roel B. Obusan, CIDG Acting Director, PSSupt Marlon Tejada, 5RCIDG Regional Chief identified the subject as Henry BELGAR a.k.a. “Putol”, who was killed upon engaging in a shootout with the combined elements of Albay CIDG, RPSB5, Albay PPSC, RID-5, and Oas Municipal Police Station.

 

 

PSSupt Tejada added that Belgar, who sensed that he was transacting with a police officer, pulled a gun and shot at the said police officer that prompted the operating team to shoot at the suspect.

 

 

Authorities were able to recover four sachets of suspected shabu, two calibre .38 revolvers, several fired cartridges, and a holster.

4 ARRESTED; Php245T WORTH OF ILLEGAL DRUGS SEIZED

On Tuesday (December 6, 2016), at about 5:00 AM, one identified as Reynaldo GENERALO Sr., tagged as No. 1 Municipal Level Most Wanted Person (MWP) in Matnog Municipal Police Station was captured during a manhunt operation conducted by the combined elements of Sorsogon CIDG, Matnog MPS, Sorsogon PPSC, Sorsogon PPO, Regional Maritime Unit 5, Philippine Army, and 5RPSB in Brgy. Sinabaran, Matnog, Sorsogon.

 

 

PSSupt Marlon Tejada, Regional Chief of 5RCIDG, said that Generalo is wanted for Murder under the Warrant of Arrest issued by Hon. Judge Adolfo Fajardo of RTC, Branch 55, Irosin, Sorsogon.

 

 

In another news, over Php245T worth of illegal drugs were seized by the CIDG based in Region 7, along with Cebu City Police Office, RPSB7, and PDEA7, during its 2-day anti-illegal drugs operation on December 5 and 6, 2016, said PSSupt Edgar Cacayan, Regional Chief of 7RCIDG to PCSupt Roel B. Obusan, CIDG Acting Director.

 

 

Two men identified as Manuel CAÑETE and Jeremy ORIG were caught in a buy-bust operation on December 5, 2016 (Monday) at around 3:40 PM, in Sitio Bato, Brgy. Ermita, Cebu City, for possession and control of 17 sachets of suspected shabu weighing MOL 30 grams amounting to Php120T and cash proceeds.

 

 

At around 7:00 PM of same date, a certain Reyel PARO was arrested by the same police team in Sitio Lawis, Brgy. Pasil, Cebu City, wherein confiscated from his possession and control were five sachets of suspected shabu weighing MOL 15 grams with an estimated value of Php67,500.00, cash proceeds, and drug paraphernalia.

 

 

While on December 6, 2016 (Tuesday), at about 1:35 AM, same police operatives conducted a buy-bust operation that resulted in the arrest of Richie BARRIGA in Sitio Bropa, Brgy. Sambag II, Cebu City.

 

 

Seized from Barriga’s possession were 20 sachets of suspected shabu weighing MOL 14.5 grams amounting to Php58T, 10 pieces of 1ML nubain ampules “Ashtic”, cash proceeds, and assorted drug paraphernalia.

8 WANTED PERSONS NABBED IN CIDG’s 36-HOUR OPLAN PAGTUGIS

In less than 36-hours, the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) nabbed eight wanted persons including a man listed as Most Wanted Person (MWP) during its conduct of OPLAN PAGTUGIS or its campaign against wanted persons that focused on arresting criminals whose crimes were violations against women and children.

 

 

Armed with Warrants of Arrest (WOAs), the CIDG together with the local PNP, started its manhunt operations at about 9:30 AM of December 5, 2016 (Monday) and ended at around 1:20 PM of December 6, 2016 (Tuesday) in seven Regions in the country.

 

 

In Region 2, detectives of Nueva Ecija and Isabela CIDG arrested Rolando LAGUIT and Anabelle AQUINO were arrested in Brgy. Salvacion, Bayombong, Nueva Ecija and Brgy. Sinamar Sur, San Mateo, Isabela, respectively.

 

 

Laguit is wanted for violation of Acts of Lasciviousness while, Aquino is wanted for violation of RA 7610 (Special Protection of Children against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act), said PSSupt Peter Naboye, Regional Chief of 2RCIDG.

 

 

In CALABARZON Region, a man identified as Benedicto OLEGARIO, who is wanted for four counts of violation of RA 7610 was collared by combined elements of Batangas CIDG under the director supervision of its Regional Chief, PSSupt Rex Anongos, Batangas PPO, and PPSC, in Brgy. Pinagtungulan, Lipa City, Batangas.

 

 

Meanwhile, in MIMAROPA Region, personnel of Oriental Mindoro CIDG and Batangas City Police Station, captured Jesus ACOSTA in Brgy. San Jose Sico, Batangas City for violations Acts of Lasciviousness and Rape, both in relation to RA 7610, stated PSupt Noel Zacarias Villegas, 4RBCIDG Regional Chief.

In the Province of Sarangani, in Region 12, combined elements of Sarangani CIDG, Alabel MPS, and Sarangani PPO, captured Bonificaio GUTIERREZ a.k.a. “Toto” in Purok 13, Brgy. Spring, Alabel, for violation of RA 7610.

 

 

While a man listed No. 8 City Level MWP in Mabalacat City, Pampanga was collared by Pampanga CIDG on December 6, 2016 (Tuesday), at around 1:20 PM in Brgy. Sto. Niño, Bamban, Tarlac.

A farmer tagged as the No. 1 Provincial Level Most Wanted Person (MWP) in Agusan Del Sur was collared in a manhunt operation launched by members of the Surigao Del Norte CIDG, together with RPSB-13, Agusan Del Sur-PIB, RIU-13, and Trento Municipal Police Station, on Sunday (December 4, 2016), at about 8:30 AM in Brgy. Tudela, Trento, Agusan Del Sur.

 

 

Armed with a Warrant of Arrest (WOA), the arresting team nabbed Danny PEÑALOGA y Blanco, a 43-year-old farmer who is wanted for Murder and a member of the “Betos Buenaventura Group”, said PSupt Agosto Daskeo, Regional Chief of 13RCIDG to CIDG Acting Director, PCSupt Roel B. Obusan.

In another news, a Search Warrant (SW) was implemented by detectives of Batangas CIDG, together with San Juan MPS, PPSC Batangas PPO, and NISU-32 on Monday (December 5, 2016), at about 10:00 AM in Sitio, Pag-asa, Brgy. Poblacion, San Juan, Batangas.

MAN AND COHORTS BUSTED FOR HUNDRED THOUSAND WORTH OF SHABU

A 43-year-old man and his two cohorts were nabbed by combined elements of Agusan Del Norte CIDG, RPSB13, and Butuan City Police Office, during a buy-bust operation in Lopez Jaena St., Brgy Tandang Sora, Butuan City in the evening (10:00 PM) of December 1, 2016 (Thursday).

 

 

PSupt Agosto Daskeo, the Regional Chief of 13RCIDG, identified the arrested persons to PCSupt Roel B. Obusan, CIDG Acting Director, as Jeffrey GO y Udtohan a.k.a. “Jade”, 43 years old; Rolly PANTILLO y Kamiyama, 36 years old; and Richard OUANO y Bacor a.k.a. “Benny Prajes”, a high-value target of Surigao Del Sur CIDG on illegal drugs.

 

 

The trio were caught in possession of 17 sachets containing suspected shabu weighing MOL 12 grams amounting to Php141,600.00, marked money, and assorted drug paraphernalia.

 

 

Meanwhile, detectives of Rizal CIDG, together with Rizal PIB and Antipolo City Police Station, collared one Daniel MATULAC a.k.a. “Danny” and Anthony YAP on Thursday (December 1, 2016) at about 9:00 PM during the conduct of an anti-illegal drugs operation in Purok Silangan, Brgy. Del Paz, Antipolo City.

 

 

The arresting team were able to confiscate a sachet of suspected shabu worth Php3,000.00, buy-bust money, and drug paraphernalia.

More than Php190,000 worth or a total of 34.9 grams of illegal drugs were seized and five malefactors were arrested in separate anti-illegal drugs operations launched by the members of the CIDG on November 30, 2016 (Wednesday) in Lucena, Cavite, Butuan, and Bislig.

 

 

At about 5:00 AM, one Roberto Basera MANALO and Mark Benzon EDAÑO were arrested by police operatives of Quezon CIDG in Brgy. Ibabang Dupay, Lucena City, while, one Allan Ramos a.k.a. “Achang” was able to elude arrest after sensing that Manalo and Edaño were arrested. The police were able to confiscate four sachets of suspected shabu weighing MOL four grams amounting to Php21T and a cellular phone, said PSSupt Rex Anongos, Regional Chief of 4ARCIDG to CIDG Acting Director, PCSupt Roel B. Obusan.

 

 

In Brgy. Alima, Bacoor City, Cavite, at around 5:10 PM, a certain Jessie LAZARO a.k.a. “Jess” was collared by members of the Cavite CIDG together with Bacoor City Police Station in possession of four sachets of shabu with an estimated weight of 20.4 grams amounting to Php51T and marked money.

 

 

Meanwhile, detectives of Agusan Del Norte CIDG under the direct supervision of its Regional Chief, PSupt Agosto Daskeo, together with PDEA13, Bacolod City Police Office, and RPSB13, nabbed Suela Revilla TAN a.k.a. “Jorge” during a buy-bust operation, at around 2:30 PM in Brgy. 19, Buhangin, Butuan City, wherein seized from his possession were two sachets of suspected shabu weighing MOL 7.5 grams with value of Php88,500.00, marked money, and assorted drug paraphernalia.

 

 

A man identified as Joey BALGOA y Pontillo a.k.a. “Jobals” or “Joey” was apprehended by the combined elements of Surigao Del Sur CIDG, Bislig City Police Station, RPSB13, and Philippine Army while in possession and control of 20 sachets of suspected shabu weighing MOL three grams with a total value of Php35,400.00, marked money, drug paraphernalia, and a motorcycle, during a buy-bust operation in P-5 Gangas, Gamaon District, Brgy. Mangagoy, Bislig City, Surigaro Del Sur.

Four wanted persons including two men listed as Most Wanted Persons (MWPs) were collared by the CIDG in separate manhunt operations conducted in Laguna, Pampanga, Cebu and Benguet.

 

 

On Tuesday morning (November 29, 2016 at around 2:20 AM), combined elements of Detection and Special Operations Unit (DSOU) of the CIDG and Lapu-Lapu City Police Office nabbed a Call Center Agent identified as Allan Albert Alistaire OLIVAR y Gatchalian in Results Company, Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu.

 

 

PSSupt Narciso Domingo, DSOU Chief, said that 42-year-old Olivar is wanted for the crime of Rape in the Warrant of Arrest (WOA) issued by RTC Branch 94, Quezon City.

 

 

On November 30, 2016 (Wednesday) at about 3:45 PM, a team from DSOU-CIDG, together with Calbayog City Police Office, Samar PPO, PRO-8, PRO3, and Angeles City Police Station, arrested one Cresencio SALURIO y Villegas a.k.a. “Cris Salurio” during the service of a WOA in Brgy. Sta Teresita, Angeles City, Pampanga.

 

 

45-year-old Salurio is wanted for Murder and listed as No. 3 MWP in Calbayog City, Samar, said PSSupt Domingo to PCSupt Roel B.Obusan, CIDG Acting Director.

 

 

Meanwhile, joint elements of Laguna CIDG and Baliwag Municipal Police Station apprehended Guillermo PALAY Jr, who is wanted for Rape, on Wednesday morning (November 30, 2016 at 6:50 AM) in Brgy. Tibag, Baliwag, Bulacan.

On the same date, at around 7:10 AM, detectives of Benguet CIDG launched a manhunt operation that resulted in the capture of Joseph SICAT, in Cabanao, Balili, KM6, La Trinidad, Benguet.

 

 

Sicat, who is wanted for Syndicated Estafa, is the Manager of Samahan Ng Kalalakihan at Kababaihan Para sa Pag-unlad Multi-Purpose Cooperative (SKKPMPC) and member of the “Balawag Swindling Group”, said PSSupt Angeles Genorga Jr.   xxx

 

4 SURRENDERED FOR ALLEGED INVOLVEMENT IN ILLEGAL DRUGS TRADE

Four (4) illegal drugs group members surfaced and voluntarily surrendered to the Office of the CIDG based in South Cotabato and Sultan Kudarat on November 22 and 25, 2016, respectively.

 

 

PSSupt Felix Servita, the Regional Chief of 12RCIDG identified the surrenderers to PCSupt Roel B. Obusan, CIDG Acting Director, as Bernadette CARREON y Dinglasan, 42 years old; Jemar BACAN y Bacantan, 32 years old; Jason Jay BESATE y Bacan, 20 years old; and Ruel GALVAN y Omagac, 30 years old.

 

 

Carreon, who voluntarily presented herself to the South Cotabato CIDG, is listed as No. 8 in the List of Drug Personalities of CIDG South Cotabato and a member of the “Carreon Group” operating in Koronadal City and other Municipalities of South Cotabato Province, while Bacan, Besate, and Galvan, who voluntarily surrendered to the Office of Sultan Kudarat CIDG, are known members of the “Berting Group” operating in Sultan Kudarat, added PSSupt Servita.

 

 

All the surrenderers manifested and executed their Affidavits of Undertaking swearing to refrain from engaging in illegal drugs activities and to help in providing information on the identities and activities of other personalities involved in illegal drugs within the said areas.

 

 

Meanwhile, one Wendell PATAMBANG y Belardo was arrested by the detectives of 4ARCIDG under the direct supervision of its Regional Chief, PSSupt Rex Anongos, together with Cavite CIDG, during the implementation of a Search Warrant (SW) in MH Del Pilar, Silang, Cavite on Tuesday morning (November 29, 2016 at about 4:29 AM).

GUNMAN AND RAPE ACCUSED NABBED BY CIDG

A member of a gun-for-hire group was nabbed by combined elements of Ilocos Sur CIDG, Sinait Police Station, Ilocos Sur PAIDG, PPSC, PIB, and Maritime Group, during the implementation of two Search Warrants (SWs) on November 24, 2016 (Thursday), at about 6:30 AM in Brgy. Sta Cruz, Sinait, Ilocos Sur.

 

 

Armed with the said SW issued by Hon. Rapheil Alzate, Executive Judge of FJR, RTC Br. 24, Cabugao, Ilocos Sur, the searching teams proceeded at residence of Marwin MACUGAY y Yago, wherein confiscated from his possession and control were assorted pieces of ammunition for calibres .22, M16, and Magnum .22.

 

 

In his report to CIDG Acting Director, PCSupt Roel B. Obusan, PSSupt Amando Lagiwid, Regional Chief of 1RCIDG, said that Macugay is a member of the “Igne-Rosete Gun-for-Hire Group” operating in the province of Ilocos Sur.

VILLAGE CHIEF ARRESTED; PRISON GUARD AND BRGY KAGAWAD NEUTRALIZED IN POLICE OPERATION

During the implementation of a Search Warrant (SW), a Village Chief was arrested by the members of Pangasinan CIDG, together with the PDEA, Pangasinan PPO, PPSC, PHPT, and Bani Municipal Police Station, on Tuesday morning (November 22, 2016 at 6:00 AM) in Brgy. Ambabaay, Bani, Pangasinan.

 

 

PSSupt Amando Lagiwid, Regional Chief of 1RCIDG identified the subject of the said SW as Eduardo RAMONES Jr, the Brgy. Captain and incumbent ABC President therein, wherein confiscated from his possession and control were eight sachets of suspected shabu.

 

 

Ramones is a high value target (HVT) drug personality in Pangasinan and included in CIDG Region 1’s Target List, said PSSupt Lagiwid to CIDG Acting Director, PCSupt Roel B. Obusan.

 

 

A case for violation of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act) was filed against Ramones.

 

 

Meanwhile, a prison guard and a Brgy Kagawad were killed in an encounter during the buy-bust operation conducted by the combined elements of Antique CIDG, PAIDSOTG and MAIDSOTG, in the morning (12:30 AM) of November 22, 2016 (Tuesday) in Brgy. Maybato, San Jose, Antique.

 

 

The subjects were identified as Prison Guard Enecito ESCANER of Antique Rehabilitation Center and Brgy. Kagawad Roberto MAGBANUA of Brgy Caridad, Hamtic, Antique, whom, during the encounter were hit on the different parts of their bodies that resulted to their instantaneous death.

 

 

The police authorities were able to recover four sachets of suspected shabu and marked money.

Php1M SHABU WORTH SEIZED; 4 SUSPECTS ARRESTED

In the concerted efforts made by the combined forces of Manila CIDG, MPD DAID, DSOU, DPIOU, Station II, and NCR-PDEA, four suspects were captured and Php1 Million worth of illegal drugs were seized on November 21, 2016 (Tuesday), at around 3:30 PM.

 

 

Armed with a Search Warrant (SW) issued by Hon. Judge Virgilio Macaraig of Manila RTC against one Api ANG a.k.a. “Happy Ang” or “Henry”, the police operatives proceeded and implemented the said SW at Room Nos. 201 and 208, Goodhope/Goodlife Hotel, No. 518 Tomas Mapua, Sta. Cruz, Manila.

 

 

Thereat, the subject of the SW, whose real identity is Api TIU, a 60-year-old figured main supplier of dangerous drugs was arrested. Tiu’s assistant identified as Henry Bernales GO, Luz Chan ANG, Tiu’s wife, and his sister-in-law Betty CHAN, were also arrested during the intense police operation.

 

 

600 g of suspected shabu amounting to MOL Php1 Million including a cold cash worth Php1.7 Million believed to be cash proceeds from their illegal drugs activities were confiscated by the searching police teams, said PSSupt Belli Tamayo, NCRCIDG Regional Chief to PCSupt Roel B. A man listed as Most Wanted Person (MWP) was nabbed during a manhunt operation launched by the Compostela Valley CIDG, together with Nabunturan Municipal Police Station on Sunday afternoon (November 20, 2016 at 4:00 PM) in Purok 1, Brgy. Poblacion, Nabunturan, Compostela Valley.

 

 

PSupt Edilberto Leonardo, the Regional Chief of 11RCIDG, identified the suspect as Romel ADORABLE who is wanted for Frustrated Murder and listed as No. 10 MWP in Nabunturan, Compostella Valley.

 

 

Meanwhile, in Brgy. Kayquit, Indang, Cavite, combined elements of Cavite CIDG, Cavite PPO, and Indang Municipal Police Station, implemented a Search Warrant against Danilo SUDARIO y Badio.

In another news, two men were arrested during the conduct of OPLAN BIG BERTA by the personnel of Camarines Sur CIDG, together with Naga City Police Office on Saturday (November 19, 2016), at about 1:20 PM in Zone 6, Brgy. Penafrancia, Naga City, Camarines Sur.

 

 

The arrested suspects were indentified as Edilberto STA ANA y Dellosa a.k.a. “Rodel” and Winston PADILLA y Barosa a.k.a. “Ton” wherein confiscated from their possession and control were eight sachets of suspected shabu, coin purse, and cash proceeds including the buy-bust money amounting to Php6,120.00, said PSSupt Marlon Tejada, Regional Chief of 5RCIDG to PCSupt Roel B. Obusan, CIDG Acting Director.

Php600T WORTH OF ILLEGAL DRUGS, GUNS AND EXPLOSIVES SEIZED; 6 ARRESTED BY CIDG

 

November 21, 2016

 

 

Over the weekend, operatives of the CIDG in Region 10, launched an anti-criminality police operations that led to the apprehension of six (6) individuals and the seizure of more than Php600,000.00 worth of illegal drugs, assorted guns, and explosives.

 

 

In the morning of Saturday (6:00 AM of November 19, 2016), five malefactors later identified as Noaim RADIAB, Adbulwajid RADIAB, Marogong RADIAB, Madrigal LANGITAO, and Aisah LANGITAO were arrested by the combined teams from Lanao Del Norte-Iligan City CIDG, Lanao Del Norte PNP personnel, PRO10, Tubod Municipal Police Station, and Philippine Army, during the implementation of Search Warrants (SWs) in P-2, Brgy. Barandia, Salvador, Lanao Del Norte.

 

 

In his report to PCSupt Roel B. Obusan, CIDG Acting Director, PSupt Tom Tuzon, 10RCIDG Regional Chief, said that seized from the possession and control of the arrested persons were five M16 armalite rifles, a grenade launcher, rifle grenade, calibre .9MM pistol, two calibre .45 pistols, assorted magazines and ammunition, two rifle scopes, a hand guard, and a bipod.

 

 

Cases for violations for RA 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act) and RA 9516 (Illegal Possession of Explosives) were filed against the subjects.

 

 

Meanwhile, on November 20, 2016, at about 12:45 PM, in a buy-bust operation conducted in KM 25, Brgy. Silae, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon, detectives of Bukidnon CIDG, together with Malaybalay City Police Station, confiscated 2 sacks of dried marijuana leaves weighing MOL 8.5 kls with an estimated value of Php255,000.00 in the possession of one Mansagabaw MANLANGIT a.k.a. “Jigger”, who managed to elude arrest.

 

 

While, at around 2:15 PM of same date, members of Cagayan De Oro City CIDG, joined by North Cotabato CIDG, and Cotabato PPO, collared Sarex Mabandes GUIAPAL a.k.a. “Saed”, during a buy-bust operation in Poblacion 8, Midsayap, North Cotabato wherein confiscated from the suspect were 17 sachets of suspected shabu weighing MOL 54 g amounting to Php405,000.00.

 

 

A case for violation of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act) were filed against Manlangit and Guiapal, while continuous manhunt operation were being conducted against Manlangit, added PSupt Tuzon.xxx

 

 

MURDER AND RAPE ACCUSED MEN CAPTURED BY CIDG

 

November 18, 2016

 

 

Three Murder accused and a Rape accused individuals were captured on the strength of Warrants of Arrest (WOAs) by members of the CIDG based in Pasig City, Pangasinan, Nueva Vizcaya, and South Cotabato, on Thursday (November 17, 2016).

 

 

At about 6:00 AM, detectives of the Eastern NCRCIDG arrested one Manuel CARULLO during a manhunt operation at #215, Serona Village, Brgy Mambugan, Antipolo City.

 

 

PSSupt Belli Tamayo, the Regional Chief of NCRCIDG, said to PCSupt Roel B. Obusan, CIDG Acting Director, Carullo is wanted for Attempted Murder and is listed No. 12 in the Target List Personalities of Eastern NCRCIDG.

 

 

Meanwhile, at around 10:00 AM, a certain Rodolfo VIADO Sr. was collared for Murder by members of Pangasinan CIDG under the direct supervision of its Regional Chief, PSSupt Amando Lagiwid, together with Quezon CIDG and San Fabian Police Station in Brgy. Binday, San Fabian, Pangasinan.

 

 

On the same date at 3:00 PM, operatives from Nueva Vizcaya CIDG apprehended a man who is wanted for Murder identified as Alex VALENCIA in Brgy Bagahabag, Solana, Nueva Vizcaya, said PSSupt Peter Naboye, Regional Chief of 2RCIDG.

 

 

While on Wednesday morning (November 16, 2016 at 8:00 AM), combined elements of South Cotabato CIDG and Tantangan Municipal Police Station, launched a manhunt operation in Purok 1, Brgy. Dumadalig, Tantangan, South Cotabato, that resulted in the arrest of 39-year-old Raffy SAMILLANO y Robles.

 

 

Samillano, according to 12RCIDG Regional Chief, PSSupt Felix Servita Jr, is wanted for Rape, and listed as No. 4 Municipal Level Most Wanted Person (MWP) in the said Province. He is also a member of “Balisong Group” engaged in Sexual Assault activities operating in South Cotabato. xxx

 

 

VICIOUS CG MEMBERS CAUGHT BY CIDG IN MANILA

On Wednesday afternoon (November 16, 2016 at 2:00 PM), two members of a criminal gang were arrested along Kanluran, Balut, Tondo, Manila after being caught for possession of firearms and illegal drugs.

 

 

The members of the Manila CIDG, who worked closely and acting precisely on the previously submitted summary of information entailing to a vicious criminal group known as the “De Castro Robbery/Hold-up Group”, which, from their latest tip received, are planning to stage up a robbery/hold-up at the said area, said PSSupt Belli Tamayo, the Regional Chief of NCRCIDG, to CIDG Acting Director, PCSupt Roel B.Obusan.

 

 

The Manila CIDG team led by PCInsp Wilfredo Sy, together with the MPD-DPIOU and MPD-DSOU, were able to chance two malefactors along Kanluran, Balut, Tondo, Manila while seemingly waiting for something or someone until one of them, who was later identified as one Cristian TINAY, was seen fixing a gun placed on his waist that prompted for his eventual arrest.

 

 

26 years old Tinay, is a member of the Batang City Jail (BCJ), wherein seized from his possession is a calibre .357 revolver loaded with ammunition.

 

 

During body search, the authorities also able to discover and confiscate two sachets of suspected shabu from Tinay.

 

 

Tinay’s companion identified as Roel DE CASTRO, a 34-year-old member of the Sputnik Gang, was also apprehended for possession of a calibre .22 revolver with ammunition and 10 sachets of the same illegal drugs.

 

 

Cases for violations of RA 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act) and RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act) were filed against the duo. xxx

 

VILLAGE OFFICIALS: 1 ARRESTED, 1 SURRENDERED IN CIDG’S ANTI-ILLEGAL DRUGS CAMPAIGN

Two (2) Barangay Officials, one was arrested, while the other voluntarily surrendered on November 15, 2016 (Tuesday), in Baguio City and Pangasinan, respectively.

 

 

At about 7:15 AM, in KM3, Marcos Highway, Bakakeng Central, Baguio City combined elements of Baguio CIDG, Baguio City Police Station, and PDEA-CAR, arrested Brgy. Kagawad Prudencio Cornelio MIRANDA Jr. a.k.a. “MJ Johnson”, during the implementation of a Search Warrant (SW) for violation of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act).

 

 

Miranda was caught for possession and control of six sachets of suspected shabu and assorted paraphernalia.

 

 

PSSupt Angeles Genorga JR, the Regional Chief of CARCIDG, said that Miranda is a level 1 high-value target (HVT) drug personality in Baguio City.

 

 

Meanwhile, at around 12:15 PM, members of the Pangasinan CIDG conducted an OPLAN TOKHANG in Zone 7, Brgy. Poblacion, Bayambang, Pangasinan, which resulted in the voluntary surrender of one Marlon Catubig SERRANO, Brgy Kagawad of Brgy. PNR, San Carlos City, Pangasinan.

 

 

In his report to PCSupt Roel B. Obusan, CIDG Acting Director, PSSupt Amando Lagiwid, Regional Chief of 1RCIDG, Serrano is listed as HVT Drug Personality in Pangasinan and included in CIDG Region 1’s Target List.

 

 

Serrano, who was accompanied by his uncle, executed his Affidavit of Undertaking and gave assurance of his full cooperation in the PNP’s campaign against illegal drugs activities in the area.

 

 

While, a certain Junjun ESTANIEL was collared by the joint elements of Bacolod City CIDG and Negros Occidental PPO by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest (WOA) on November 15, 2016 (Tuesday), at 3:10 PM in Corazon Locsin Memorial Hospital, Bacolod City.

 

 

Estaniel, according to PSSupt Francisco Esguerra, Regional Chief of 18RCIDG, is listed as Municipal Level Most Wanted Person (MWP) in Bais City, Negros Oriental for Murder and a member of the “Dinglasa Ebasan Carnapping Group” operating in Negros Oriental. xxx

 

 

WANTED MAN WITH Php1.3M HEAD PRIZE NEUTRALIZED IN POLICE OPERATION

 

November 15, 2016

 

 

A 43-year-old IED bombmaker of the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters (BIFF) involved in the series of bombings in Central Mindanao since 2006 was killed in an encounter during the service of a Warrant of Arrest (WOA) conducted by the combined elements of the Northern Cotabato CIDG, Cotabato City PPO, and personnel from the Philippine Army, on Monday (November 14, 2016), at around 5:30 PM in Brgy. Central Malamote, Matalam, North Cotabato.

 

 

One Mohammad Nor HASSAN a.k.a. “Bulaoa” and “Kamarudin Sulayman” was killed after attempting to throw a grenade to the arresting team that prompted the latter to fire back at Hassan, hitting him in different parts of his body.

 

 

Hassan, who is wanted for Murder, Multiple Frustrated Murder, and Multiple Attempted Murder, was brought to Babol Hospital but declared Dead on Arrival (DOA) by the attending physician.

 

 

Recovered from the killed bombmaker were a caliber .38 revolver, several ammunition, and a hand grenade.

 

 

PSupt Felix Servita Jr, the Regional Chief of 12RCIDG said to CIDG Acting Director, PCSupt Roel B. Obusan, Hassan is also listed as No. 18 in the DND-DILG wanted personalities list of joint order on reward with monetary reward of Php1.3 Million. xxx

 

 

CG MEMBERS BUSTED FOR GUNS AND ILLEGAL DRUGS

 

November 15, 2016

 

 

Three (3) were arrested, while several guns, a rifle grenade, and Php40,000.00 worth of illegal drugs were seized by the members of the CIDG based in Laguna, together with Laguna PPO and San Pedro City Police Station, during the simultaneous implementation of Search Warrants in Brgy San Antonio, San Pedro City, Laguna on November 14, 2016, at about 7:55 AM .

 

 

In his report to PCSupt Roel B. Obusan, CIDG Acting Director, PSSupt Rex Anongos, the Regional Chief of 4ARCIDG, identified the three arrested persons as Efren CAMERINO y Banta, Eduardo CAMERINO y Alvarez, and Cristuto AMPER y Mabaga.

 

 

The two Camerinos were subjects of the said SW issued by Hon. Judge Agripino Morga of RTC Br. 29-33 in San Pablo City, Laguna for violations of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act) and RA 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act).

 

 

The searching teams were able to seize two calibre .45 pistols, a calibre .22, rifle grenade, assorted ammunition, several magazines, drug paraphernalia, and three sachets of suspected shabu weighing MOL 17 g.

 

 

Both Camerinos are known members of the “Camarino Criminal Group” whose leader is identified as Roland Camerino y Alvarez and also a subject of the said SW was not around during the police operation.

 

 

The group is engaged in illegal drugs, carnapping, and gun-for-hire activities in Laguna and nearby provinces, added PSSupt Anongos.

 

 

Confiscated pieces of evidence were now under the custody of the Laguna CIDG while a continuous manhunt operation against Roland Camerino is being conducted by the Group. xxx

 

COP SURRENDERS, MWPs ARRESTED

 

November 9, 2016

 

 

A PNP member voluntarily surrendered to the members of the Pangasinan CIDG and Natividad Municipal Police Station during the conduct of the OPLAN “TOKHANG” in Brgy. Poblacion, Natividad, Pangasinan in the afternoon (4:00 PM) of November 8, 2016 (Tuesday).

 

 

PSSUpt Amando Lagiwid, the Regional Chief of 1RCIDG, identified the surrenderer to PCSupt Roel B. Obusan, CIDG Acting Director, as SPO1 Julius ROSALES y Canilang, a drug listed personality and categorized as High-Value Target (HVT) of CIDG Region 1.

 

 

SPO1 Rosales was assisted by hi superior officer and was brought to the CIDG Office for documentation.

 

 

Meanwhile, detectives of the Davao Del Norte CIDG and Asuncion Municipal Police Station arrested one Melchor Amini SUSTIGUER during the conduct of a manhunt operation on Tuesday afternoon (November 8, 2016 at 3:00 PM) in Purok 5, Brgy. Masayan, Veruela, Agusan Del Sur.

 

 

Sustiguer, who is wanted for Murder, is also listed as No. 1 Municipal Level Most Wanted Person (MWP) in Asuncion, Davao Del Norte, said PSupt Edilberto Keonardo, Regional Chief of 11RCIDG.

 

 

While another listed MWP identified as Nicanor ALARIAO Jr., was collared by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest (WOA) served by the manhunt team of Cagayan CIDG, under the direct supervision of its Regional Chief, PSSupt Peter Naboye, in Brgy. Linao Norte, Tuguegarao City on Tuesday (November 8, 2016).

 

 

Alariao is wanted for Rape and tagged as No. 3 MWP of Cagayan CIDG. xxx

 

25 ARRESTED IN CIDG ANTI-ILLEGAL DRUGS OPERATION, Php115T WORTH OF ILLEGAL DRUGS SEIZED

 

November 7, 2016

 

 

Two separate anti-illegal drugs operations were launched by the members of the 7RCIDG on November 5, 2016 (Saturday) in the cities of Cebu and Talisay, both in Cebu, that resulted in the arrest of 25 individuals and the seizure of more than Php115,000.00 worth of illegal drugs.

 

 

At around 7:15 AM, the detectives of Metro Cebu CIDG, together with PRSB7 and PDEA7, arrested 12 persons during a buy-bust operation in Sitio Buli, Brgy. Duljo-Fatima, Cebu City.

 

 

The arrested persons were identified by PSSupt Edgar Mayo, Regional Chief of 7RCIDG, as Mike Anthony ALCOVER, Solomon TADENA, Deanver FANO, Jomark Anthony CUMLA, Brimar CABIGON, Dennis VILLAVER, Fidel ABAYAN, Arnel TAYO, Miraflor VERONA, April FRIAS, Rowena MEDELLIN, and Joel CAÑEDA.

 

 

The authorities were able to confiscate 16 sachets of suspected shabu weighing MOL 20 g with an estimated value of Php90,000.00, and cash proceeds including the buy-bust money.

 

 

Meanwhile, in another buy-bust operation, operatives of Cebu Province CIDG collared 13 persons, at around 8:30 AM, in Sitio Tunga, Brgy. Tangke, Talisay City.

 

 

One Rodolfo LABAJO, Christine BASALO, Raiza RUBIO, Glizcerie DAAN, Van Ian ABARQUEZ, Wawe PALANG, Climaco BARSILAS, Joe Mae MANGARON, Jason LABANDERO, Jerel ABAY, Edwin RABAYA, Benjie ADLAWAN, and Elvin PLAMERA, were nabbed by the arresting team wherein confiscated from their possession and control were 16 sachets of suspected shabu weighing MOL 6.4 g amounting to Php25,600.00 and buy bust money.

 

 

PSSupt Mayo said to PCSupt Roel B. Obusan, CIDG Acting Director, that all arrested persons were charged for violation of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act). xxx

 

MWP AND 1 OTHER NABBED BY CIDG IN POLICE OPERATION

In the morning (9:20 AM) of November 3, 2016, detectives of the Santiago City CIDG arrested one Jimber LAYCO by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest (WOA) in Brgy. Plaridel, Santiago City.

 

 

Layco, who is wanted for Qualified Rape, is also listed as No. 4 Most Wanted Person (MWP) in Santiago City, said PSSupt Peter Naboye, 2RCIDG Regional Chief said to CIDG Acting Director, PCSupt Roel B. Obusan.

 

 

Meanwhile, a certain Ronnie HALAYAHAY a.k.a. “Panot” was collared during the implementation of a Search Warrant (SW) by the combined elements of Northern Samar CIDG, Northern Samar PPO, PDEA, and Bobon Municipal Police Station, on November 3, 2016 (Thursday), at 5:42 AM in Brgy. San Juan, Bobon, Northern Samar.

 

 

During the police operation, six sachets of suspected shabu, a smoke grenade, ammunition, fired cartridges, and assorted drug paraphernalia were seized from the possession and control of Halayahay.

 

 

PSupt Marvin Wynn Marcos, the Regional Chief of 8RCIDG, said that the arrested person is listed as No. 7 Drug Personality of Bobon MPS.

 

 

Halayahay was charged for violations of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act), RA 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act), and RA 9516 (Illegal Possession of Explosives).

BRGY OFFICIAL AND 1 OTHER SURRENDERED; 2 MEN ARRESTED FOR ILLEGAL DRUGS

November 03,2016

 

In Region 1, two listed as high-value target (HVT) personalities including a Brgy. Official, personally appeared and voluntarily surrendered themselves to the CIDG Offices in La Union and Ilocos Sur on November 2 and 3, 2016, respectively.

 

The surrenderers were identified by PSSupt Amando Lagiwid, Regional Chief of 1RCIDG, as one Samuel CASUGAY, the incumbent Brgy Kagawad of Brgy. Lingsat, San Fernando City, La Union and Nereo QUERUBIN of Brgy. Don Dimas Querubin, Caoayan, Ilocos Sur, both listed HVTs in the said provinces and also included in 1RCIDG’s target list of drug personalities.

 

PSSupt Lagiwid said to CIDG Acting Director, PCSupt Roel B.Obusan, that said surrenderers undergone debriefing and executed their affidavits of voluntary surrender.

 

Meanwhile, two men were collared by the members of the Surigao Del Norte CIDG under the direct supervision of its Regional Chief, PSupt Agosto Daskeo, during a buy-bust operation on Wednesday evening, (November 2, 2016 at 8:00 PM) in Purok-7, Brgy. San Juan, Surigao City.

 

Together with the members of the Surigao City Police Station, SDN Maritime Unit and, RPSB-13, the said CIDG team arrested one Limuel VERIÑA y Simosa, 32 years old and John PATAJO y Hipolito, 25 years old, while in possession of four sachets of suspected shabu weighing MOL 10 g, marked money, and drug paraphernalia.

 

Veriña is listed as HVT of Surigao Del Norte CIDG, said PSupt Daskeo. A case for violation of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act) were filed against the two suspects. XXX
