REGION 11’S MOST WANTED NABBED BY CIDG

In the morning of January 31, 2017 (8:30 AM of Tuesday), a man listed as Most Wanted Person (MWP) was collared by Davao CIDG detectives together with the Sta Ana Police Station during a manhunt operation in Brgy. 76-A Boulevard, Davao City.

 

One Anthony Largo KARAAN is wanted for Frustrated Murder and listed as No. 1 MWP in Region 11, said PSupt Edilberto Leonardo, Regional Chief of 11RCIDG to PDir Roel B. Obusan, CIDG Director.

 

Meanwhile, combined manhunt teams of Ilocos Norte CIDG under the direct supervision of its Regional Chief, PSSupt Amando Lagiwid, Ilocos Norte PPO, and Vintar Police Station nabbed James Kheo POLERACIO y Espiritu by virtue of a WOA, on Wednesday (February 1, 2017), at around 7:00 AM in Brgy. 10, Parparoroc, Vintar, Ilocos Norte.

 

Poleracio is wanted for Reckless Imprudence Resulting to Damage to Property and is tagged as No. 7 Municipal Level MWP in Vintar, Ilocos Norte.

 

While in Brgy. Pangapisan North, Lingayen, Pangasinan, members of Pangasinan CIDG, Lingayen Municipal Police Station, and Dagupan City PDEA, arrested 35-year-old Arnold CASTILLO y Ambrosio on the strength of two WOAs, on Tuesday morning (January 31, 2017 at 10:15 AM).

 

Castillo is wanted for violation of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act) and for Illegal Possession of Ammunition.

 

PSSupt Lagiwid said that Castillo is among the newly identified drug personality in Lingayen, Pangasinan and listed as No. 1 Street Level Target (SLT) in the Target List of Pangasinan CIDG. ###

CIDG NABS 2 MOST WANTED PERSONS

February 1, 2017

 

A man listed as Most Wanted Person (MWP) was collared by the members of the CIDG based in Davao Del Norte, together with the Asuncion Municipal Police Station and PIDMS, in the morning of January 30, 2017 (9:00 AM of Monday) in Purok 1, Brgy. Cambanogoy, Asuncion, Davao Del Norte.

 

Identified as Yul Clint MISOLES, was arrested by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest for violation of RA 6539 (Anti-Carnapping Act).

 

PSupt Edilberto Leonardo, Regional Chief of 11RCIDG said in his report to CIDG Director, PDir Roel B. Obusan, that Misoles is listed as No. 9 MWP in Asuncion, Davao Del Norte and No. 2 in Lambat Sibat MWP.

 

Meanwhile, a man who is wanted for Rape was arrested by combined elements of Sarangani CIDG, Alabel Municipal Police Station, and 12RCIDG, on Monday (January 30, 207), at around 9:45 PM along Santol St., Brgy. Dadiangas North, General Santos City.

 

One Yashua PAUSA y Magallanes a.k.a. “Oloy” is tagged as No. 7 Municipal Level MWP in Alabel, Sarangani Province, said PSupt Elmer Guevarra, OIC, 12RCIDG.

 

Still in Region 12, a 42-year-old man identified as Ricardo GERODIAS y Vistal and Christian GERODIAS y Matias, 19 years old were captured by Sarangani CIDG detectives, together with Alabel Municipal Police Station, during a manhunt operation on Tuesday (January 31, 2017), at about 11:30 AM in Brgy Poblacion, Alabel, Sarangani Province.

 

Both Gerodias are wanted of the crime of Frustrated Murder under the issued WOA by Hon. Judge Bill Ybarley of RTC Br.38, Alabel, Sarangani Province, added PSupt Guevarra. ###

ASG MEMBER NABBED BY CIDG FOR KIDNAPPING

January 31, 2017

 

A member of the Abu Sayaff Group’s (ASG) was arrested by the Quezon City CIDG detectives, together with the members of CIDG region 9, RPSB-PROP9, QCPD-DSOU, Zamboanga City Police Office, in coordination with the DOJ-Task Force Anti-Terrorism with NISG, Western Mindanao Command, on January 27, 2017 (Friday), at around 1:00 AM in Brgy. Cawit, Zamboanga City.

 

Armed with a Warrant of Arrest (WOA), one Jaafar MUNDI or Mundi Jaafar or “Abu Raba” a.k.a. “Jaafar”, “Jaafar Faisal y Abdul”, was collared for Kidnapping and Serious Illegal Detention.

 

PSSupt Belli Tamayo, Regional Chief of NCRCIDG, said to PDir Roel B. Obusan, CIDG Director, that Mundi is involved along with several armed members of the ASG in the kidnapping of Paisal Binasing and 14 other residents of Brgy. Tairan, Lantawan, Basilan Province that occurred on June 2011.

 

In another news, a 23-year-old man was apprehended by combined elements of Masbate CIDG, RIU5, and Mandaon Municipal Police Station, during a manhunt operation on Saturday (January 28, 2017), at around6:30 PM in Brgy. Tagpo, Madaon, Masbate.

 

One James RUBIS y Ombas a.k.a. “Kapid”, who is wanted for Robbery under the WOA issued by Hon. Manuel Sese, Judge of RTC Br. 45, Masbate City, is listed as No. 6 Municipal Level Most Wanted Person (MWP) of Mandaon, Masbate, said PSSupt Marlon Tejada, 5RCIDG Regional Chief. ###

3 LISTED MWPs NETTED BY CIDG IN MANHUNT OPERATIONS

A man who is wanted for Murder was collared by joint elements of Cavite CIDG, Intelligence Division CIDG, NCRCIDG, MPU, Cavite PPO and Maragondon MPS, during a manhunt operation, Thursday morning (January 26, 2017 at 10:50 AM) in Camp Crame, Quezon City.

 

One Teodoro REYES, was arrested by Warrant of Arrest (WOA) issued by Hon. Lerio Castigador, Presiding Judge, RTC Br 15, NAIC, Cavite.

 

Reyes is listed as No. 2 Provincial Level Most Wanted Person (MWP) and No. 1 MWP in Maragondon, Cavite, said PSSupt Rex Anongos, 4ARCIDG Regional Chief to PDir Roel B. Obusan, CIDG Director.

 

Meanwhile, detectives of Ilocos Norte CIDG, together with Vintar Police Station, nabbed Marcial AGRESOR on January 26, 2017 (Thursday), at about 4:00 PM, in Brgy 33. Cabayo, Vintar, Ilocos Norte.

 

1RCIDG Regional Chief, PSSupt Amando Lagiwid, said that Agresor is wanted for Frustrated Homicide and is tagged as No. 5 Municipal Level MWP of Vintar MPS.

 

While in the morning of January 26, 2017 (7:00 AM of Thursday), one Roberto VILORIA was arrested in Green Valley, Baguio City on the strength of a WOA for Carnapping and Murder.

 

PSSupt Angeles Genorga, CARCIDG Regional Chief, said that Viloria is ranked No. 2 Regional Level MWP of Nueva Vizcaya CIDG. ###

CIDG NABS 14 INDIVIDUALS; 27 SACHETS OF ILLEGAL DRUGS SEIZED

January 27, 2017

 

Twenty-seven sachets of suspected shabu were seized from the possession of 14 individuals by the members of the CIDG, together with the territorial PNP units during the conduct of the CIDG’s campaign against illegal drugs in Regions 3, 5, and 8, on January 25, 2017 (Wednesday).

 

In Region 3, five buy-bust operations were launched by the detectives of CIDG based in Bulacan, Pampanga, and Zambales, wherein 15 sachets of suspected shabu and marked money were confiscated from the arrested suspects identified by PSSupt Edwin Quilates, Regional Chief of 3RCIDG, as John Benjamin QUINTO and Adora MANIQUIS, who were arrested in Bry. Longos, Pulilan, Bulacan; Reggie REYES a.k.a. “Reggie”, Eurica LACSON a.k.a. “Rica”, and Rodolfo GAMIT a.k.a. “Rodolf”, who were collared in Brgy. Balibago, Angeles City, Pampanga. Romnick SARMIENTO and Christopher APOG a.k.a. “Toper” and Erwin DARACAY, were caught in Upper Johnson Extension, East Bajac Bajac, and along Caron St., West Bajac Bajac, both in Olongapo City, Zambales, respectively.

 

A certain John Howard Gutierres managed to elude arrest. All arrested persons including Gutierres are listed Drug Personalities, said PSSupt Quilates to PDir Roel B. Obusan, CIDG Director.

 

Meanwhile, in Region 5, five individuals were caught in possession of 10 sachets of suspected shabu during two separate buy-bust operations conducted by Sorsogon and Albay CIDG.

 

Eric MONTIERRO, Emerson CAÑAVERAL, Amando VALLE, and Alex PUSE were arrested in Zamgem Traveller’s Inn, Brgy Bagumbayan Sur, Naga City; while, a certain Hector ROS was collared at about 6:30 PM in Brgy Bonga, Ligao City, Albay.

 

PSSupt Marlon Tejada, 5RCIDG Regional Chief said that Ros is listed Drug Personality of Albay CIDG.

 

In Region 8, members of the Southern Leyte CIDG under the direct supervision of its Regional Chief, PSupt Jojie Tabios, arrested Dexter RAVAGO a.k.a. “Poying”, wherein confiscated from his possession were two sachets of suspected shabu and cash including the marked money.

 

All suspects were charged for violation of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act). ###

GANG LEADER NEUTRALIZED IN BUY-BUST OPERATION

 

January 26, 2017

 

A 23-year-old man who is a leader of a criminal gang was neutralized in an encounter with the combined elements of the Sultan Kudarat CIDG, Isulan Municipal Police Station, Sultan Kudarat PPO, SBT-A, and Sultan Kudarat PPSC, during the conduct of a buy-bust operation on January 20, 2017 (Friday), at around 8:00 AM in Purok 3, Brgy. Bual, Isulan, Sultan Kudarat.

 

During the police operation, one Charlie DIMALAO a.k.a. “Salazar Dimalao”, fired at the operating team upon sensing that he was transacting with the police. This prompted the police to retaliate wherein Dimalao sustained gunshot wounds that caused his untimely death.

 

Recovered from the crime scene were two sachets of suspected shabu, homemade submachine gun, ammunition, and a fired cartridge.

 

PSSupt Felix Servita Jr, Regional Chief of 12RCIDG, said to PDir Roel B. Obusan, CIDG Director, that Dimaloa is a newly identified drug personality and discovered to be the leader of the “Dimalao Group” engaged in illegal drugs trade and gun-for-hire activities operating in Isulan, Sulatan Kudarat.

 

The killed gang leader is also listed as No. 1 Provincial Level Most Wanted Person (MWP) in Sultan Kudarat under the Warrant of Arrest (WOA) for Murder.

 

Meanwhile, detectives of Sultan Kudarat CIDG, together with Tacurong City Police Station and Sultan Kudarat PPSC, collared 59-year-old Jinny BALINO y Justalero on Friday morning (January 20, 2017 at 11:15 AM) in Block 2, Apilado Subdivision, Brgy. Poblacion, Tacurong City, Sultan Kudarat.

 

Balino who is wanted for violation of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act), is the leader of the “Balino Group”, engaged in illegal drugs trade operating in Tacurong City, Sultan Kudarat, added PSSupt Servita. ###

 

LEADER OF GUN RUNNING GROUP ARRESTED; GUNS AND AMMOS SEIZED

 

January 25, 2017

 

A leader of a gun-running group was collared by combined elements of Abra CIDG, RPSB, Luba Municipal Police Station, and PIB-Abra during the implementation of a Search Warrant on Monday morning (January 23, 2017 at 6:00 AM) in Sitio Pega, Brgy. Poblacion, Luba, Abra.

 

Jeneffrey AMBROCIO was caught in possession and control of four shotguns, a calibre .22 rifle, a pistolized calibre 5.56, several ammunition, and 10 empty shells.

 

PSSupt Angeles Genorga Jr, CARCIDG Regional Chief, said to PDir Roel B. Obusan, CIDG Director, that Ambrosio is in the priority target list of CARCIDG and the leader of the “Ambrosio Gun Running Group”.

 

A case for violation of RA 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act) was filed against Ambrosio.

 

Meanwhile, on January 21, 2017 (Saturday), at around 7:45 PM, detectives of Rizal CIDG, together with Rizal PPO, Antipolo City Police Station, and PDEA Regional Office, nabbed Van DABA, Eldwin ROMBANO, Ricardo BULAWAN, and Alix AMPASO during a buy-bust operation against Joel Sabangan, who was not around during the police operation and his group, in Cogeo Gate 2, Brgy. Sta Cruz, Antipolo City, Rizal,

 

Ten sachets of suspected shabu weighing MOL 40 grams amounting to Php100,000.00, assorted drug paraphernalia, one calibre .38 revolver, a calibre .22, and several ammunition were confiscated by the police operatives.

 

PSSupt Rex Anongos, 4ARCIDG Regional Chief said that the arrested persons are members of the “Sabangan Illegal Drug Group” operating within the Muslim Community in the area.

 

While at around 2:40 PM of January 22, 2017 (Sunday), a certain Robinson RACELIS and Nelia Corazon CLARETE were apprehended by Quezon CIDG detectives along Bangkok St. University Site, Brgy. Ibabang Dupay, Lucena City.

 

Racelis and Clareta, who are members of the “Pocholo Group”, were caught while in possession of 13 sachets of suspected shabu weighing MOL 5 grams amounting to Php16,000.00.

 

Pocholo Group is said to be operating in the university site targeting students of Enverga University.

 

A case for violation of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act) were file against all the arrested persons while additional case for violation of RA 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act) were filed against the members of the Sabangan Group. ###

 

Php1.7M WORTH OF SHABU SEIZED IN CIDG ANTI-ILLEGAL DRUGS OPERATION

 

January 25, 2017

 

More than Php1.7 million worth of illegal drugs were seized during a buy-bust operation launched by the joint elements of Surigao Del Norte CIDG, RPSB13, Surigao Del Norte PPO, and Surigao City Police Station in the morning of January 23, 2017 (7:05 AM, Monday), at Surigao Bus Terminal, Brgy. Luna, Surigao City.

 

PSupt Agosto Daskeo, Regional Chief of 13RCIDG, identified the arrested person to PDir Roel B. Obusan, CIDG Director, as one ARJ MERCADEJAS y Villamil a.k.a. “Ar-Ar”, wherein confiscated from his possession were three sachets of suspected shabu weighing MOL 150 grams, and bogus money including the marked money.

 

Mercadejas is listed as high-value target (HVT) of Surigao Del Norte CIDG on illegal drugs.

 

Meanwhile, members of the Metro Cebu CIDG under the direct supervision of its Regional Chief PSupt Royina Garma, together with Cebu City Police Office and PDEA7 arrested Reggie Ancahas CANSANCIO and Mia Alecer MACARAYA during a buy-bust operation in Sitio Mananga, Brgy. Tabunoc, Talisay City on January 22, 2017 (Sunday), at around 1:10 PM.

 

Authorities were able to confiscate 10 sachets of suspected shabu weighing MOL 15 grams amounting to Php67,500.00, buy-bust money, and assorted drug paraphernalia.

 

All the arrested persons were charged for violation of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act). ###

 

CIDG’S OPLAN PAGTUGIS, 4 MWPS

 

January 23, 2017

 

The CIDG launched its campaign against wanted persons that resulted to the capture of four men listed as Most Wanted Persons (MWPs) in Regions 2, 11, 12, and CAR.

 

On January 18, 2017 (Wednesday), at about 10:00 AM, detectives of Nueva Ecija CIDG arrested one Lucio OLIGANO, during a manhunt operation in Brgy. Maasin, Quezon, Nueva Vizcaya.

 

PSSupt Peter Naboye, 2RCIDG Regional Chief said that Oligano, who is wanted for two counts of Rape, is listed as No. 6 MWP in Nueva Vizcaya CIDG’s Target List for 2017.

 

Meanwhile, a certain Anthony Gono CANO was collared by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest (WOA) for Arson by combined elements of Compostella Valley CIDG and Mawab Municipal Police Station, on Monday (January 16, 2017), at around 7:15 PM in Purok 6, Brgy. Poblacion, Mawab, Compostela Valley Province.

 

Cano is listed No. 9 Municipal Level MWP in Mawab, said Regional Chief, Psupt Edilberto Leonardo.

 

While, at about 7:30 AM of January 17, 2017 (Tuesday), Sarangani CIDG detectives, joined by Alabel Municipal Police Station and Sarangani PPO, nabbed Concepcion MACAHIDHID on the strength of a WOA for two counts of Robbery, along National Highway, Brgy. Lapasan, Cagayan De Oro City.

 

In his report to PDIR Roel. B Obusan, CIDG Director, PSSupt Felix Servita Jr, 12RCIDG Regional Chief, said that Macahidhid is listed as No. 12 MWP Regional Level of 12RCIDG and the leader of the “Macahidhid Robbery Group” operating in Alabel, Sarangani Province.

 

Finally, on Wednesday morning (January 17, 2017 at 8:00 AM), members of Baguio CIDG, apprehended Alfredo Cantre ALMOETE in Crystal Cave, Baguio City, by virtue of a WOA for Frustrated Homicide.

 

Almoete, according to PSSupt Angeles Genorga Jr, CARCIDG Regional Chief, is listed as No. 4 MWP in Baguio City. ###

 

CIDG CELEBRATES ITS 64TH YEAR FOUNDING ANNIVERSARY

The Criminal Investigation and Detection Group is celebrating its 64th Founding Anniversary today, January 23, 2017, which coincides with the Traditional Monday Flag Raising Ceremony at the PNP National Headquarters, Camp Crame, Quezon City.

 

Gracing the occasion as the Guest of Honor and Speaker is the Secretary of the Department of Justice, Secretary Vitaliano N. Aguirre II, whom the CIDG, like itself, have seen a profound obligation to advance and sustain the nation’s fight against illegal drugs and crime.

 

As part of the celebration, selected CIDG personnel and civilian stakeholders are awarded for their great contribution to the fulfilment of the CIDG’s commitment of addressing illegal drugs and criminality in the country.

 

PDir Roel B. Obusan, CIDG Director, said that the past year has been truly fruitful, for they have accomplished remarkable achievements. At the same time, the CIDG experienced setbacks and trials but these facts of service made the CIDG even stronger as ever.

 

This year’s Anniversary Theme, “Imbestigasyong Makatotohanan at Serbisyong Tapat Tungo sa Mas Maunlad at Mapayapang Lipunan”, bespeaks well of their zeal and tenacity in the pursuit of the ends of justice, added PDir Obusan.

 

For the year 2016, the CIDG achieved numerous operational accomplishments focusing on its program thrusts and using its newest tool, the enhanced Target Output Policy (TOP) – a tool designed and implemented to give direction and focus to Chiefs of Units by setting specific target outputs and timeline for accomplishments.

 

From January to December 2016, 4,371 manhunt operations were conducted by the CIDG wherein 5,317 wanted persons were arrested. One hundred (100) criminal gangs were neutralized with 1,175 gang members arrested.

 

In its campaign against loose firearms, 1,265 police operations were launched that resulted in the confiscation of 2,002 high and low powered firearms. The CIDG also conducted 1,598 anti-illegal drugs operations that led to the seizure of 44,983 grams of suspected shabu and 228,405 grams of marijuana.

 

The Group was able to solve 3,818 cases with a crime clearance efficiency of 99.14% and 78.79% crime solution efficiency.

 

As the CIDG forge another year and with this commendable accomplishment, PDir Obusan encouraged the men and women of the CIDG to stay focused especially at this crucial time when the nationwide campaign against illegal drugs and criminality is gaining momentum. ###

 

CIDG ARRESTS 2; ILLEGAL DRUGS SEIZED IN SEPARATE POLICE OPERATIONS

 

January 17, 2017

 

Two men were collared during the anti-illegal drugs group operations conducted by the members of the CIDG based in Regions 3 and 4A on Monday (January 16, 2017).

 

Detectives of Pampanga CIDG under the direct supervision of its Regional Chief, PSSupt Edwin Quilates, together with the PDEA Regional Office 3 arrested RJay DIMACALE a.k.a. “Bakla Darna” in a buy-bust operation at around 10:00 PM, in Brgy. Balinago, Angeles, Pampanga.

 

Confiscated from Dimacale’s possession and control were three sachets of suspected shabu weighing MOL 10 grams amounting to Php24,000.00 and marked money.

 

Meanwhile, one Lawrence Alfren FAJARDO a.k.a. ”Marcus” was nabbed by operatives of 4ARCIDG, at about 9:30 PM during a buy-bust operation in Brgy. Mapayapa, Calamba City, Laguna.

 

Fajardo, according to PSSupt Rex Anongos, Regional Chief of 4ARCIDG, was caught in possession of four bricks of suspected marijuana weighing MOL 5.25 kilos amounting to Php73,500.00, marked money, a motorcycle, and a cellular phone.

 

Both Dimacale and Fajardo were charged for violation of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act). ###

 

DRUG GROUP MEMBERS NABBED BY CIDG

 

January 17, 2017

 

A man listed as the No. 4 Most Wanted Person (MWP) of CARCIDG was nabbed by the detectives of Benguet CIDG, together with Baguio CIDG, Tinoc Municipal Police Station, Ifugao PPO, Bokod Municipal Police Station, and Benguet PPO, in the afternoon (1:30 PM) of January 14, 2017 (Saturday), in Brgy. Danggo, Tinoc, Ifugao.

 

PSSupt Angeles Genorga Jr, CARCIDG Regional Chief identified the suspect to PCSupt Roel B. Obusan, CIDG Acting Director, as Amado TANGGOP, who is wanted for Statutory Rape.

 

Tanggop is also tagged as No. 2 (Station Level) MWP of Baguio City Police Station, added PSSupt Genorga.

 

Meanwhile, two anti-illegal drugs operations were launched by the joint elements of CIDG based in Region 18 and PDEA NIRO on Saturday (January 14, 2017) in Sitio Canday-ong, Brgy. Calindagan Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental.

 

At about 3:00 PM, a certain Mary Cris Almenzo PERAS a.k.a. “Maricris” was arrested by the said operating team, wherein confiscated from her possession and control were three sachets of suspected shabu, a cellular phone, and marked money.

 

While, at around 12:45 PM, the same police operatives nabbed one Analiza TANGON a.k.a. “Jinky” during a buy-bust operation the resulted in the seizure of three sachets of suspected shabu, cash proceeds including the buy-bust money, and assorted drug paraphernalia.

 

Both Peras and Tangon are members of the “Belandres Drug Group” operating in Negros Oriental, said PSSupt Francisco Esguerra, 18RCIDG Regional Chief.

 

A case for violation of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act) were filled against the suspects.###

 

FOREIGN NATIONAL ARRESTED FOR RAPE BY CIDG

 

January 13, 2017

 

On Thursday afternoon (January 12, 2016 at around 1:00 PM), detectives of Manila CIDG served a Warrant of Arrest (WOA) against a 59-year-old man who is wanted for Rape in relation to RA 7610 (Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act), at the Manila CIDG Detention Cell.

 

Victorino CATALIG y Saring a.k.a. “Tito Vic”, tagged as No. 3 Most Wanted Person (MWP) of Manila CIDG, is currently detained for another case of Rape, and was also brought up by the same CIDG unit during its police operation last January 10, 2017 in Novaliches, Quezon City, said PSSupt Belli Tamayo, NCRCIDG Regional Chief to CIDG Acting Director, PCSupt Roel B. Obusan.

 

Meanwhile, a British National was nabbed by the Zamboanga Del Sur CIDG detectives on January 10, 2017 (Tuesday), at about 2:00 PM in Rosario Subdivision, Brgy. Dao, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur.

 

PSSupt Anthony Aberin, 9RCIDG Regional Chief identified the British National as Peter William CANNEL, who was arrested by virtue of a WOA for the crime of Rape, Sexual Assault, and other Acts of Child Abuse.

 

In another news, members of the Agusan Del Norte CIDG, together with RPSB and PDEA13 implemented a Search Warrant against one Junie FORSUELO that resulted to his arrest, on Thursday (January 12, 2017), at about 9:00 PM in Port Poyohon, P-1, Brgy. 17, Butuan City.

 

Forsuelo, who is listed as HVT of Agusan Del Norte CIDG, was arrested for possession of four sachets of suspected shabu, weighing MOL 7 grams amounting to Php54,000.00 and assorted drug paraphernalia, said PSupt Agosto Daskeo, Regional Chief of 13RCIDG.

CIDG REGION 1 NETS 3 IN MANHUNT OPERATIONS

 

January 13, 2017

 

Three police operations against wanted persons were launched by the members of the CIDG based in Region 1 that resulted in the arrest of three individuals who are wanted for crimes against women and children, on January 11, 2017 (Wednesday) in Pangasinan and La Union.

 

At about 11:50 AM in Brgy. Capaz, Umingan, Pangasinan, one Rosendo NUESCA y Eligado a.k.a. “Rico”, a 64 years old and a farmer, was arrested by the joint elements of Pangasinan CIDG and Umingan Municipal Police Station.

 

Nuesca is wanted for Rape under two Warrants of Arrest (WOAs) and three counts of violation of RA 7610 (Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act), said PSSupt Amando Lagiwid, Regional Chief of 1RCIDG.

 

Meanwhile, at around 2:40 PM, Pangasinan CIDG detectives, together with Urbiztondo Police Station nabbed John Lester ABREU y Encarnado, during a manhunt operation in Brgy. Angatel, Urbiztondo, Pangasinan.

 

Abreu is wanted for four counts of Rape under a WOA issued by Hon. Judge Hermogenes Fernandez of RTC, Br. 56, San Carlos City, Pangasinan.

 

While at 4:00 PM, a certain Conrado PARCHAMENTO, who is wanted for Acts of Lasciviousness, was collared by operatives of La Union CIDG, on the strength of two WOAs, in Centro Dagup, Bagulin, La Union.

 

In another news, combined elements of Mountain Province CIDG, Mt. Province PIB, PIDMB, and PPSC, apprehended Antonio Chadya-as CASSIW Jr, on January 12, 2017 (Thursday), at about 5:10 AM, in Saclit, Sadanga, Mountain Province.

 

PSSupt Angeles Genorga Jr, CARCIDG Regional Chief, said to PCSupt Roel B. Obusan, CIDG Acting Director, that Cassiw is wanted for Murder and is listed as No. 1 Municipal Level Most Wanted Person (MWP) in Sadanga, Mt. Province. ###

 

SUSPECTS IN ROXAS NIGHT MARKET BOMBING INCIDENT ARRESTED

January 12, 2017


A 59-year-old man was netted by the Manila CIDG operatives in a manhunt operation launched in the evening (10:00 PM) of January 10, 2017 (Tuesday), along Eden St., Brgy San Agustin. Novaliches, Quezon City.

Victorino CATALIG y Saring, a resident of Sta. Cruz Manila, was nabbed on the strength of a Warrant of Arrest (WOA) for Rape issued by Hon. Silverio Castillo, Presiding Judge of RTC Br. 48, Manila.

Catalig is listed as No. 4 Most Wanted Person (MWP) of Manila CIDG, said PSSupt Belli Tamayo, NCRCIDG Regional Chief to PCSupt Roel. B. Obusan, CIDG Acting Director.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday morning (January 10, 2017 at 10:30 AM), two suspects of the September 2016 Roxas Night Market bombing incident were collared by the joint elements of Davao CIDG and 11RCIDG during the conduct of its campaign against wanted persons, along San Pedro St., Davao City.

PSSupt Edilberto Leonardo, 11RCIDG Regional Chief, identified the arrested persons as Zack Haron Velasco LOPEZ a.k.a. “Herwin Madrona” and Jessy Vincent Quinto ORIGINAL, both wanted for Terrorism under the WOA issued by Hon. Melinda Alconcel Dayanghirang, Presiding Judge of RTC, Br. 54, Davao City.

In another news, two members of a criminal gang were killed during an encounter with the members of the Pampanga CIDG and PDEA-RO3 on January 10, 2017 (Tuesday), at around 10:00 PM in Purok 5, Brgy. Amsic, Angeles City.

Alias “Mike Muslim and alias “Ramil”, both subjects of the anti-illegal drugs operation launched by the authorities, were identified by 3RCIDG Regional Chief, PSSUpt Edwin Quilates as members of the “Amsic Group” involved in illegal drugs trade in Angeles City.

A calibre .45 pistol, calibre .38 revolver, 14 sachets of suspected shabu weighing MOL 9 grams, marked money, and several ammunition were recovered by the authorities. Cases for violations of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act) and RA 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Law) were filed in court. xxx

DRUG GROUP LEADER AND MEMBER BUSTED BY CIDG

January 10, 2017

A leader and two of its members were busted by the Quezon CIDG detectives during separate buy-bust operations on Monday (January 9, 2017) at 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM in Brgy Ibabang Dupay, Lucena City.

One Jose MANLUGON Jr a.k.a. “Cuatog” and Mark Anthony MILLABAS a.k.a. Macmac” were caught after selling six sachets of suspected shabu weighing MOL 4 grams to an undercover police, while a certain Resty LLANES was arrested during a follow-up buy-bust operation for selling a sachet of shabu weighing MOL five grams.

PSSupt Rex Anongos, 4ARCIDG Regional Chief, said in his report to CIDG Acting Director, PCSupt Roel B. Obusan, that Llanes was the leader of the “Llanes Group”, operating in the said Brgy. and other Brgys of Lucena City, wherein Manlugon and Millabas are members.

The three were charged for violation of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act).

Meanwhile, members of the South Cotabato CIDG, together with General Santos City Police Office conducted a manhunt operation that resulted in the arrest of Cipriano VALLEJO y Luga a.k.a. “Cipring” on January 9, 2017 (Monday), at around 5:15 AM in Hicban Subdivision, General Santos City.

Vallejo, according to 12RCIDG Regional Chief, PSSupt Felix Servita Jr, who is wanted for violation of RA 9262 (Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004), is also the leader of the “Vallejo Group” engaged in illegal drugs trade operating in South Cotabato. xxx

ILOCOS SUR’S MOST WANTED NABBED BY CIDG

January 10, 2017


Joint elements of the Ilocos Norte CIDG detectives, PIDMB-PIB Ilocos Sur, Ilocos Sur PPSC, and Nagbukel Police Station collared a 36-year-old man by virtue of Warrants of Arrests (WOAs) on January 9, 2017 (Monday), at about 7:00 AM in Brgy Poblacion East, Nagbukel, Ilocos Sur.

PSSupt Amando Lagiwid, Regional Chief of 1RCIDG, identified the arrested person as German CIUBAL y Pagarigan, who is wanted for the crimes of Statutory Rape and Rape by Sexual Assault, both issued by Hon. Marita Bernales Balloging, Acting Judge, RTC Branch 72, Narvacan, Ilocos Sur. He is also wanted for two Rape by Sexual Assault and Acts of Lasciviousness in relation to RA 7610 (Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act), all issued by Hon. Gina Juan-Chan, Presiding Judge, RTC, Branch 22, Narvacan, Ilocos Sur.

Ciubal is listed as No. 5 Provincial Level Most Wanted Person (MWP) of Ilocos Sur PPO, said PSSupt Lagiwid to CIDG Acting Director, PCSupt Roel B. Obusan.

In another news, a leader and a member of a drug group were apprehended by the members of the South Cotabato CIDG, together with Koronadal City Police Station, during a buy-bust operation launched on Friday (January 6, 2017), at around 1:15 PM in Purok Martinez, Brgy. Zone 4, Koronadal City, South Cotabato.

One Herme CHAVEZ a.k.a. “Bads” and Edgar SANCHEZ a.k.a. “Jay-ar” were arrested for possession and control of three sachets of suspected shabu weighing MOL 0.04 grams amounting to Php3,000.00, assorted drug paraphernalia, marked money, 18 cellullar phones, and a motorcycle.

The two were tagged as newly discovered drug personalities under the “Chavez Group” engaged in illegal drugs trade in South Cotabato, wherein Chavez is the leader, while Sanchez is among the members, said PSSupt Felix Servita, 12RCIDG Regional Chief.

A case for violation of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act) was filed against the suspects. xxx

REGION 12’S MOST WANTED COLLARED BY CIDG

January 9, 2017

Thursday afternoon (January 5, 2017 at about 3:35 PM), detectives of Manila CIDG served a Warrant of Arrest (WOA) against one Ariel BAUTISTA y Cabrera a.k.a. “Aye” in his lock-up cell inside the Manila City Jail.

40-year-old Bautista, who is a member of the “Commando Gang”, is wanted for violation of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act).

The said WOA was initiated and filed by the Manila CIDG during an intense anti-drug operations previously made against Bautista wherein he managed to escape, said NCRCIDG Regional Chief, PSSupt Belli Tamayo to PCSupt Roel B. Obusan, CIDG Acting Director.

Bautista’s current detention under case violating the Section 5 of the same law was also brought up Manila CIDG during a follow-up buy-bust operations.

In another news, joint elements of Sarangani CIDG, Alabel Municipal Police Station, and Sarangani PPO captured Danilo VILLAFLOR during a manhunt operation on January 5, 2017 (Thursday) at about 5:00 PM in Purok 15, Brgy. Lower Sirib, Calinan District, Davao City.

Villaflor, is wanted for violation of RA 9165 and is listed No. 5 Regional Level Most Wanted Person in Region 12, said PSSupt Felix Servita Jr, 12RCIDG Regional Chief.

PSSupt Servita also said that Villaflor is also listed as No. 1 Target Drug Personality in Alabel, Sarangani Province. xxx

HITMAN AND LIVE-IN PARTNER NABBED IN MANILA CIDG POLICE OPERATION

January 6, 2017

A 38-year-old member of the “Bahala Na Gang” was nabbed by the joint operatives of the Manila CIDG and MPD-DSOU during the conduct of a manhunt operation on January 6, 2017 at about 6:40 AM at No. 2578 San Pedro Paulino St., Balut, Tondo, Manila.

PSSupt Belli Tamayo, NCRCIDG Regional Chief, identified the arrested person in his report to PCSupt Roel B. Obusan, CIDG Acting Director as one Joel AMAQUIN y Cano, who is an ex-convict from the NBP Medium Security and a resident of the said area.

Incidental to the lawful arrest of Amaquin was the confiscation from his possession and control of seven sachets of suspected shabu, a caliber .45 pistol, a magazine, several ammunition, and a hand grenade.

Amaquin is also listed as No. 1 Most Wanted Person (MWP) of Manila CIDG and the prime hitman of the “Alias Brix Drug Group”. He is also a convicted drug personality in NBP and the known suspect in the shooting incident of Brgy. Ex-O Jaime Blasco of Brgy 109, Zone 10, Balut, Tondo, Manila.

Also arrested during the operation was Amaquin’s live-in partner identified as Jenny TULDA y LESTENES.

Amaquin was charged for violations of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act), RA 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Law), and RA 9516 (Illegal Possession of Explosives), while Tulda was charged for Obstruction of Justice. xxx

CIDG CAUGHT 2 FOR ILLEGAL DRUGS POSSESSION

January 5, 2017

Two were arrested after being caught in a buy-bust operation launched by the combined elements of Surigao Del Norte CIDG, PRSB13, Surigao Del Norte PPO, RMU13, and Surigao City Police Station, in the evening (6:30 PM) of January 3, 2017 in Purok Ilang-Ilang, Navarro St., Brgy. Taft, Surigao City.

PSupt Agosto Daskeo, 13RCIDG Regional Chief, identified the suspects to PCSupt Roel B. Obusan, CIDG Acting Director, as 29-year-old Archie ECLEO y Recimo a.k.a. “Ching” and Rudy John LUMPAY y Sarino a.k.a. “Kano”, 19 years old, both were arrested for possession of a total of 11 sachets of suspected shabu weighing MOL 10 grams amounting to Php118,000.00, assorted drug paraphernalia, and marked money.

Meanwhile, members of the Detective and Special Operations Unit of the CIDG served a Warrant of Arrest (WOA) against Alex ORPILLA who is currently detained that the MCIU-CIDG Custodial Facilitiy, Camp Crame, Quezon City on January 3, 2017, at around 11:45 AM.

PSupt Ronald Gayo, DSOU OIC said that Orpilla is listed as No. 4 Most Wanted Person (MWP) in Region 2.

In another news, detectives of Quezon CIDG arrested one Leopoldo ANDAL Jr, Brgy. Kagawad of Brgy. Isabang, Tayabas City, during an entrapment operation on Tuesday (January 3, 2017), at 7:00 PM at Antigua Restaurant, Brgy 6, Lucena City.

The operation stemmed in the complaint lodged by Mrs. Nerissa Montes wherein the suspect allegedly tried to extort money amounting to Php75,000.00 from her in exchange of the withdrawal of case against her son, thus the arrest, said PSSupt Rex Anongos, 4ARCIDG Regional Chief.

Php200 THOUSAND WORTH OF SHABU SEIZED, 17 ARRESTED IN CIDG ILLEGAL DRUGS OPERATIONS

January 3, 2017

More than Php200,000.00 worth of illegal drugs were seized while 17 individuals were arrested in three separate buy-bust operations launched by the members of the CIDG based in Region 7 on Rizal Day, December 30, 2016 (Friday) in Talisay City and Cebu City.

A total of 41 sachets of suspected shabu weighing MOL 50.32 grams were confiscated together with cash proceeds including the buy-bust money, assorted drug paraphernalia, calibre .38 revolver parts, and five video karera slot machines.

7RCIDG Regional Chief, PSSupt Edgar Cacayan identified the arrested suspects to PCSupt Roel B. Obusan, CIDG Acting Director as Trany MABUYO, Rogelio CABRERA Jr, Joseph DAAN, Joselito PACULABA, Michael CONCHA, and William CANTIGA, all were nabbed at about 11:20 AM in Sitio Tunga, Brgy. Tangke, Talisay City, Cebu by the joint elements of Cebu CIDG and RPSB7.

While one Jocelyn DELOS SANTOS, June Mark Villacorta INOC, Joel Reboyas RIVERA, Kenneth Ramil Bacalla FERRAREN, Renante Caruana PEPITO, Prince Lawas LAGAC, Jeffrey Gemo DACILLO, and Cesar Alkuizar HERUELA were caught at around 3:30 PM by Metro Cebu CIDG detectives and RPSB7 in Mahayahay II, Brgy. Calamba, Cebu City.

Meanwhile, the same Metro Cebu CIDG and RPSB7 team, collared Jonibeb Granada ABAO, Richard Molijon GOMEZ, and Rommel Cabradilla PACILAN in Sitio Lube, Brgy. Luz, Cebu City at about 6:00 PM.

All the arrested persons were charged for violation of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act), while an additional cases for violations of RA 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Act) and RA 9287 (Illegal Numbers Games) were filed against Mabuyo, Cabrera, Daan, Paculaba, Concha, and Cantiga, from whom the gun parts and video karera machines were confiscated. xxx
