The Criminal Investigation and Detection Group had filed three (3) separate criminal complaints of Murder against the Congressman of the 3rd District of Negros Oriental and five others before the Department of Justice Manila City on Tuesday, March 7, 2023.
Detectives of the CIDG RFU NCR have filed the said complaint against; Congressman ARNOLFO ALIPIT TEVES JR, alias “HANNAH MAE”, Secretary of Cong Teves Jr, RICHARD CUADRA a.k.a. “Boy Cuadra”, JASPER TANASAN a.k.a. “Bobong Tanasan”, ROLANDO PINILI a.k.a. “Inday”, and ALEX MAYAGMA, who, based on the investigation were directly involved to the Murder of Miguel Dungog, Lester “Tom-Tom” Bato, and Pacito Libron perpetrated way back 2019.
CIDG Director, PBGen Romeo Caramat Jr said that in sworn written statements of the witnesses, reiterated and emphasized that CONGRESSMAN ARNOLFO A. TEVES JR. was the one giving the orders and served as the mastermind in the said killings while his Secretary, alias “HANNAH MAE”, was part of the planning and in-charge of giving operational expenses.
“In our investigation, CUADRA acted as the principal by direct participation in the shooting to death of victims, Dungog and Libron. Meanwhile, the killing of Bata was perpetrated by PINILI,” added PBGen Caramat.
Investigators said that the other suspects identified as JASPER TANASAN a.k.a. “Bobong Tanasan” and ALEX MAYAGMA acted through Indespensable Cooperation.
Further investigation on the suspects revealed that CUADRA has an existing Warrant of Arrest (WOA) for Murder under RTC Branch 34, Dumaguete City, while MAYAGMA has existing WOAs for Murder, violation of Comelec Resolution No. 10728 and RA 10591, all issued at RTC Branch 63, Bayawan City Negros Oriental.
“Bilang pangunahing mananaliksik ng PNP, ang CIDG ay may tungkuling magsagawa ng malalim na imbestigasyon, magsampa ng mga kaso laban sa mga responsable sa mga kalupitan at walang humpay na hahanapin ang katotohanan nang walang takot, pabor at pagtatangi sa sinuman o anuman ang estado ng buhay,” CIDG Top Cop further stated. ###
